    When does the paid promotion end and the real content begin?

    You mix and match stock footage with each turntable. I do like the fact that some of these turntables have the word "vinyl" preceding the "record player" designation. I would never have known that there was another way to play vinyl.

      There used to be, or almost. Since late 70's there was a drive to introduce a laser based vinyl player. Company Finial went through two decades declaring that their laser-reading turntable was almost ready for release. It was finally released in late 90's in Japan under different brand name (ELP) I think you can still by one, for a modest price of $ 16.000,-

    Why would anyone still buy the audio techica LP 60 when the newer model LP 70X is out n it has a better tonearm and you can use any of the VM95 needles on it?

    Pure bullshit here! First images we can see an arm and a cartridge under the par, then ATLP60 is coming: this is the most hated turntable and it is build by Hanpin, Ridiculous, you don't know the subject, another parasitic video.

    The Project and Denon are the only decedent turntable listed here, and no mention of the Technics.

    The Audio-Technica looks very much like my Technics SL1210. Exactly the same body, different arm.

    • @McGhinch
      @McGhinch 18 дней назад +1

      I don't need to change. I have connected my Technics SL1210MK2 with a DI box to my mixer with a symmetric signal. I am satisfied with that setup. And I have the original -- not a copy.

    "The 7 Best Turntables Of 2025 that I've heard of or that someone told me about that cost below $2500. Last year I had a similar list and next year I'll be back with the same type of lukewarm list with a bunch of exceptionally average low level TT's".

    What a piece of cr@p list is this? 😂😂🤣
    Built in preamp, Bluetooth connection, included speakers....
    These are miles away from being the best ones.
    You would end up in tears listening to my setup because of the quality.
    Linn deck with Akito tonearm, Ortofon VMS 20E MK2 Stylus, KEF Coda speakers.

    • @phil0910
      @phil0910 17 дней назад

      @salviaspuzzle Didn't mean to rattle any cages. The title of this video is 7 best turntables to buy. These are perhaps 7 best entry level turntables. Audio-Technica AT-LP70X has replaced the AT-LP60x and is the best entry level table under 250$. The Fluance RT-85 is a fantastic turntable at around 500$. If you don't have that kind of budget then buy the RT-82 because you can easily upgrade it to the RT-85 specs.

  • @salviaspuzzle
    @salviaspuzzle 17 дней назад +2

    Why would you titled this "the BEST?!?" Okay, I get it.... "for the price" blah blah blah. Maybe?Um nope. You give such vague descriptions and explain features in a manner that gives the impression that you just learned what record players are this morning!

    Smug comments from those who want to spend thousands on their systems. For most people, those very high end systems don't make enough difference to justify the cost. Perhaps the title should have been, Best seven turntables for 2024 most people can afford to buy. Then those with extensive expert knowledge about the very best turntables, and lots of expendable income to match could bypass this video. For someone like me, just trying to build a nice stereo system for an affordable price, it contains good info. Thank you!

      @@travisbarker569 🤣😂 You have problems with your hearing or have no idea what to listen to if you can't find difference between most of these on this crep list or some quality turntables. For sure the most improvement comes with the speakers then the stylus, but you can be sure that deck and tonearm makes a difference in sound as well. Like noise, consistency, speed, resonance. Also there are other huge factors given by the amplifier, slipmat, type and quality of connections, speaker stands, room setup, turntable isolation...
      Forgot to mention that with a good setup you can prevent or lover the wear out of your records. That's a quite important and significant difference.

    • @travisbarker569
      @travisbarker569 17 дней назад

      If you reread my comments, I said "for most people, very high-end systems, don't make enough difference to justify the cost". That is why so many people are more than happy to have a $150-300 turntable, and features experts look down on like powered turntables and Bluetooth. I never said hi end turntables don't make a difference in sound or wear. There are lots of young people buying vinyl now that are very happy with these lower cost turntables and without them, they would just be streaming.

      @@travisbarker569 "...and features experts look down on..."
      Experts do not look down on any features. Everyone should get the features that make them happy.
      Experts state facts. There are convenience features that harm sound quality. Informing people of that fact is not looking down on the feature. It is is helpful information for people that do not know that some features harm sound quality.
      How are people, who prioritize sound quality, supposed to learn, if you dissuade experts from helping people learn the subject matter?
