  • In this video, Colin Exelby, CFP® explains the current surge in pro-nuclear sentiment around the world and its potential impact on investing in uranium. Amazon, Microsoft, and Google all recently signed agreements to secure power generation for AI Data Centers. Is this just the beginning for Uranium and nuclear power?
Nuclear power is being considered as a solution for future clean and sustainable baseload power. After decades of underinvestment, nuclear energy is experiencing increased global support as the world embraces clean energy alternatives. Investment opportunities in uranium and uranium mining stocks have become increasingly attractive. Utilities are purchasing uranium in quantities not seen for a decade, and uranium mining stocks have historically performed well during uranium bull markets.
As of September 21, 2023, spot uranium prices have increased by 38.86%, while uranium mining stocks have gained 37.91% year-to-date, significantly outperforming the S&P 500 Index's gain of 14.14% over the same period.

nuclear electricity is economically obsolete. each kwh costs 5x more. Baseload is a dead concept on the grid.

Thanks for watching and the comment! Nuclear is economically obsolete compared to what other option? And what carbon free option?
