- Hey friends! I hope you enjoy this little outdoor refresh! Lots of plans for the yard/ porches coming up, but for now we have things cleaned up and ready for spring! As always, be blessed and happy junkin!
Hello from San Diego California. I'm so glad I found your channel. I love you and your Aunt Penny. And I also love Jesus with all my heart. Whatever I'm feeling not quite up, it's always fun to turn on your channel and get a little pick me up and I thank you for that. I heard you say today that you are also a nurse and I think that anyone that is blessed to have you take care of them when they're not feeling good is a very lucky person. Looks good Kayla! Yardwork is hard work. I live in central Indiana and was in the totality of the solar eclipse we were for a few minutes it looked like it was 9 o’clock at night. I’ve never experienced a total eclipse before here, God is amazing.

First of all, I just love your straw hat! That was a lot of work but I know how it was before retirement just trying to utilize every opportunity to get work done. The yard is looking amazing. I’ve always been partial to the back in the sitting area. So many cute things in your yard, I’m surprised someone doesn’t help themselves, but glad they don’t. Always a treat when I see you’ve posted a video. Take care.

I was in the path of totality in Texas. It was awesome-you see the majesty of God in that moment! Also, trust me-the mailman has seen lots of things - you talking to yourself is perfectly normal 😀. One more thing-in the heat, wear a soaking wet towel around your neck-it takes away the effects of the heat
Good morning sweet friend 😊 we’re all buzzards doing yrd work or working around the house 😂 we’re going to get our mulch Saturday I can’t wait I helped my daughter over the wk end planting flowers at they’re new house it felt so good digging in the dirt lol i’m like you w/ the junk in the flower bed & on my porch yes the bees love it 😮 it’s so pretty though anyway you’re flower beds are looking good it takes time we didn’t get to see the eclipse it was cloudy & raining here in Est Tn. God’s word being fulfilled signs in the sky he’s coming bk for his bride ❤ have a Blessed day beautiful friend ❤

I was able to sit in my backyard and watch the total eclipse. I am always in awe of God and his shenanigans! I was as excited as a little child at Christmas! Your yard looks very interesting with all your yard art…definitely unique. You know, some weeds are actually beautiful.😅

I love your channel lol! Get some original scent Irish spring soap bar and shave it or rub the bar around on items around your yard…mosquitos wasps and flies don’t like it! I live in the Sierra mountains in California and it works! Shave it up and put it around your perimeter and rub the bar directly on your doorframe ♥️♥️♥️
Edit: we didn’t get much of the eclipse here in Northern California 🤷♀️ Jesus didn’t come back so I don’t think we missed much
Oh girl I envy your determination to get in looking so nice❤. I hate the heat so need to get mine done while it’s still cool here in upstate New York. Total eclipse here, dark as tar and temperature dropped 20 degrees. I stayed in with my pets and watched through the window. Great job! Debby
When you rake up the pinestraw again, if you put cardboard down, wet it, then put the pinestraw back, it will help suppress the weeds. You can also use newspaper, but I have found that cardboard works better.

Love the refresh & hope you find lots of fun things on your junk hunt. We drove from the Oklahoma Panhandle to Hot Springs, Arkansas for a good view (my hubby nerds out over things like that) 😂 It was a great spot & very cool to see again. Where I live, there is a very large university and one day a year the college kids come and pull weeds in our yards. It's great. And yours looks great!
Hi Cayla! Your yard is looking good. Alot of work goes into those flower beds . But you are doing a really great job on them. I have to get out this afternoon and do some of mine. It is not as easy for me as I am 84 but I still do them. It takes a little longer but I do get them done.i have 8beds out back and 5 out front. I Thank God he gives me the strength todo it all. Then it looks nice to sit back and look at God's Beauty. Thank you for letting us visit you for awhile and I enjoyed every minute of it. Everything looks great! It was unusually bright in Michigan before the eclipse. I had a searing headache and had to pull out the migraine glasses to get thru the day. Not a total eclipse here but it did get pretty dark and the temp dropped about 10 degrees. My sensitive old golden mutt definitely knew there was something weird about to happen and my cranky Scottie girl couldn’t have cared less about the sun and it’s shenanigans 😂 what a weird day 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🙆🏼♀️

This morning was cool and crisp here in North Carolina. I got off night shift this morning and decided to ride through some neighborhoods just to see the beautiful things people are doing in their landscape. All the dogwoods and azaleas are blooming. I would have done a slow roll by your house 😊admiring all your collections.
You've done a great job in your yard. I spent 6 hours cleaning up mine yesterday. Probably have another 6 to go, but I enjoyed making it look pretty again in some areas, lol.

Spring is a refresh for everyone and everything. You have a beautiful home. I'm in N. Ky, and we didn't have totality, but were able to see, and definitely notice the change in lightness to somewhat darkness. Love all your videos. God bless you and yours.

Looks good ❤ I saw a little of the eclipse up here in N. Alabama. I used my sons welding helmet to look 😂. My hens all went in the coop and the neighbors chickens crowed the whole time.

You gave me an idea for my old wheelbarrow and Terre cotta pots. Thank you ! We had only a partial eclipse where I am in mid Missouri. I had glasses to look at it. It was like wearing sunglasses as far as the darkness.

Kayla I love all your garden treasures. Weeds are never ending in our gardens. I was a little embarrassed to do my garden video with all the weeds but other things were so beautiful I just said to myself the weeds really didn’t matter and I would get to them sooner or later.
