I used to fish that lake when I was that young mans age. It was in the late 70's and early 80's but your videos sure bring back good memories. I live in Texas now but sure miss Arizona for sure...
@@cactuscreekoutdoorsaz2310 been watching your stuff for a while. Love the tournament videos. This was a great one with the sonar lesson and the short guy showing us how it’s done!
Great information for a lake that can be very "unpleasant." Where do you think the bigger fish go in the summer? Are they mixed in with the smaller fish, and you just have to weed thru them? They'll be in 40 plus soon with all the boat traffic. Good stuff Shane.
Thanks buddy and I believe they sit on the same areas but just feed at different times and absolutely it won’t be long before we start turning fish into ballon’s lol
Subscribed! Thank you! My bf and I are going here in two days for his birthday and all he wants to do is fish so I'm looking for any info I can get so hopefully I don't catch the first one ..again 😅🤣
Your videos are awesome and soooo helpful, I really appreciate the details you are willing to share and hope to be improving using some of your techniques out on Bartlett and Pleasant this summer. Keep up the great work and I've already been to copper state tackle and made some purchases based on your recommendations. I've lived in Tempe for over 20 years and never knew of them before watching your videos. They should be thrilled to be one of your sponsors!
I appreciate it, that’s my goal is to have everyone learn and become better anglers and grow in the sport! I’m glad you found Copperstate tackle! They are an amazing shop and I’m excited to be working with them!
Nice job, I'm curious what your camera set up is. gonna take my son out fishing soon and would love to film it for him. Also if you can share any good spots at Pleasant I'd love it as I'm new to the lake.
Thanks! I run a GoPro hero 10 on a yolotek stick in the back. I’m also a licensed guide on lake pleasant and would love to take you and your boy out and show you around! Check out my website totallyhooked.net
I haven’t fish for them in a while but we used to do good in the back of castle creek, coles, and humbug throwing chunks of anchovies and letting them sit on the bottom!
Thank you for the hints. That lake can be a pain for me. If you don't graph over the structure first to see fish. Do you pull up and use live scope to see fish before fishing, or just fish it blind?
I think the biggest secret is to find a better lake😂😂😂 there’s no reason a lake of that size should have such poor quality fishing, but AZ in general isn’t exactly known for its fabulous fishing. Pleasant & Mead are by far the worst in my opinion, in the southwest. I’m just happy you caught something.
Little bass master you got there! I still have faith in plez, new sub.
I call this a great day on the water! 💪shoutout to u both 🫡
The depth of the water and rigs, were great tips for me. I got skunked 8 days ago. Thanks!
Hopefully next time you’ll catch them good!
HAHAHAHA That kid catches more fish than I do!
He can definitely catch them
You go Brayden.

The legendary Shane!!
Great video.... Pleasant is always a tougher lake for me. Definitely going to try and focus on the depths and humps in main lake. Thanks brother
Awesome! Good luck and let me know how it goes!
All the pleasant you can!
Absolutely
Great video you two. New to your channel. Thanks for the info. Tight lines.
Thanks for joining in!
Thanks Shane. Ples is such a hard hatchery... and so is sag. Need those tips and locations
Hopefully you learned something!
@@cactuscreekoutdoorsaz2310 mainly trying to find places that are best? Main lake or up the canyon?

So badass dude!
Thanks buddy!
Great subject matter. Like many, not my favorite place to fish!
Thank you, although it can be a tough lake with the right adjustments you can really catch them!
I keep seeing things on the Free Rig. I'll have to try it. I wonder how it work at Saguaro? Great video!
I can assure you it works great!
Show us how to set up a drop shot
The newest video i just dropped shows exactly how i set up my drop shot!
I needed this .. any tips on catching the catfish there ?

You make some content out at Apache
I might make my way out there soon
Looking forward to it!! Have you tried the dolive beaver on a free rig yet?

A lot of times you won’t necessarily see the fish on the spot but it has to have rocks or trees for them to sit so I’ll find that and cast to it.
What kind of BFS rod is that? What reel?
The links for each are in the description
reel but let him run.. lol
You sold me one
They are a blast!

Pleasant is an incredible lake it just takes awhile to really figure it out. And lake mead is really good depending on the time of year.
Good job Brayden. Hope you had a great time.
