I love it that downtown is your centre. Oh, Old Town, what an interesting addition! And Magic Town!! Yep, near and dear! I really like your ideas and the changes you've made.
Thanks!! Yeah, i was really excited to have it and bring some of the sims back, really excited to play with them! I'm just really excited about it in general aha
Woah this looks amazing! Such a huge project, and what an incredible accomplishment to finally be ready to play ⭐ Sounds like you've had a lot of fun with this, and it's really great to see. I look forward to seeing your coming videos on this. I love the fact that you added Old Town into the mix: I adore TS1 and TS2 overlap, I think that makes really fascinating stories. And the little hidden Magic Town among the trees was just perfect, really clever! This also jogged my memory when you mentioned the Langerak siblings: I think I might have missed one important step to adding family connections in SimPE when we spoke of it last and I feel really bad about that. I think I only mentioned the family ties, but that's just the family tree and the sims won't recognise each other as family in the relationship panel. So additionally you have to set their relationship as spouses/siblings/parent and child etc. You might have already done this on your own, of course, but I thought I'd mention it to still my conscience 😊 Thank you for sharing the awesome intro video, and again, I look forward to seeing more 🥰
Awe thank you so much Ani! It definitely took awhile haha, it was a ton of fun and now I can finally work on setting up a medieval save slowly in the background cause a simmers job is never done 🤣 Yess! I realized that after and then was reading a few tutorials and did that. Thank you for getting me on the right track on how to do it! 🙂 And yess, Ts1 holds such a special place in my heart and I've been wanting to do this for awhile as well as revisit the game itself so when I realized how much stuff was out there conversion wise I needed to do it for my uberhood haha. I'm excited to see what happens lol. I'm so happy to see that you and others are excited for this! Thank you!! ❤
Urbz in the town yo! I allways wanted a sims game that includes and mixes all versions of the sims games into one but mega/uberhood is still not meeting that expactation. Sims2 DS and Sims2Castaway DS mixed with their PS2 and PC versions just would be perfect to the top.
Thank you!! :) It took almost close to 3months to set it all up haha, I had fun but it was definitely tedious, I'm just glad that it's finally done and playable haha. Although, I must admit I feel a little lost without a project to work on but I'm thinking of starting a separate save file for a midevil game so i can play that on the side lol
Wow, what a Hood! I want to play them all (I have played DreadPirate’s Alt1 Pleasantview a little bit). I could never play them all together though, a little bit too much for me. Now I need to catch up on your livestream from the beginning, and am looking forward to see how it all plays out.
Thank you Jatzette! I completely understand that it might be a bit much for some people to play an uberhood haha, there's so many sims and families to manage and keep track of :P I should have the VOD up soon, thank you for stopping in and saying hi for the first one, meant a lot!!
I’m really impressed! This was cool. It is some a hole new game. I have made a “Uberhood” by myself too. The first thing I did was to put every family in a neighbourhood in one family with cheating. Then I moved this families to the latest neighbourhood from “Apartment Life” and after that I made sub-neighbourhoods of the old neighbourhood. Taking every house from and put them in the “new” neighbourhood and named them after the old neighbourhood. After that I moved in every family in their old house. When I had done that I made my own version of Old Town but, 25 years later and made new families to move in to the houses that had families in the first The Sims. (I have also made the Alto family with Holy Alto and her children and grandchildren) But I did not have the downtown and magic town from the sims 1 in my Old Town. I liked that.
@@MakzPlayground Yes, it took time but Old Town took longest time, because I build it from ground, the only thing I downloaded was the neighbourhood map, but the houses I build up from the ground, but it is fun. The sad thing is, there was some gravestones that disappeared from Veronaville when I moved the families and houses from the original neighbourhood. But I survive without them. Btw: I also tried to make a new version of Sunset Valley as a sub-neighbourhood but it takes so long time to make it from ground.
@@emuelldubliners8440 Yeah, it's a lot of patience making them and oh man I can onlly imagine how long that took to make all the houses and stuff for old town, definitely super worth it tho! I believe there is a Sunset Valley for the sims 2 on Tumblr that you can find, by DaniSsims or something like that, if you google "Sims 2 Sunset Valley" it should pop up!
@@MakzPlayground I have already downloaded Sunset Valley for the Sims 2, but it is only a main-neighbourhood, but I had a plan before to use some of the houses that person made when I tried to make my version of Sunset Valley. But, it was not easy to make a sub-neighbourhood of that. But maybe sometime in the future I should download the sub-neighbourhood version of all neighbourhoods from The Sims 2 and put them as sub-neighbourhoods for that Sunset Valley main neighbourhood.
Wow! Impressive! :D I have a couple of favourite Sims stories about the premades (Strangetown, Here We Come and Fortune&Romance to name just two) so even though I've never really played them after the first months when I got the game..... recently it's been itching to create some version of a cleaned uberhood, just because it'd be so satisfying to connect everything and get the worlds connected, you know? Of course you know. You just completed that process.
Thank you so much for the comment! I'm glad you like the hood. Yeah it's a bit of a process and I watched so many people play an uberhood on Tumblr that I finally had to get started and just go for it, I sorta planned and added things along the way while also finally doing things I've been wanting to for awhile (like bringing back the ancestors for Old Town). It was definitely tedious but so worth it and I've been having a blast playing with the hood live over on Twitch :) I started the medieval hood, it's definitely a work in progress to default everything and then get other CC and mods on top of that. It's for sure going to take me awhilllee but will be fun to do and play in!
I have a few of them already that I'm super excited to play with, I should look into a few of the others that I might have missed. Thanks for the reminder!
@@enigmaoffc3148 So unfortunately there's no links in the comments allowed but I will definitely look! There's a pinterest by DeeDee sims where she has sims from other games for Sims 2 and it's super cool, not sure if that's what you're referring to or not.
Great job! Can’t imagine the time it will take to play one round though 😅 Will you play each family for one week or just a day or so at a time? Would also love to see the universites as well 😊
Thank you! Yeah that's rhe one thing I'm not stoked about. I decided today in my livestream that I'm gonna do one season per round so it's gonna take...awhile hahaha. I might do a review neighborhood review of the uni worlds eventually 🙂
This looks amazing Maks! I love how you added Magic Town to Old Town. It fits perfectly! I think the creator's name for some of the hoods might be Nepheris? At least the Veronaville template, cause that's the same one I used ^.^ Can't wait to see you streaming. Looks like so much fun!
Thank you SO much!! I still had to boot up my old PC to get the bookmark of that creator, I appreciate it so much. And thank you!! I'm so excited to finally play with it. I'm going to be dropping another video shortly that's very inspired by your House of Fallen Trees build and I can't wait to show it off for a Halloween Special :3
Hi there. A bit late to the uberhood video, but I have a question. How do you run a uberhood with this amount of Sims? The reason I am asking this is, won't the neighbourhood go a bit off the rails if you have too many Sims and then your game become unplayable? I heard there is a limit on the amount of Sims you can have.
Hey, the limit is actually 32 thousand sims, so it's very hard to get there. As for becoming unplayable, it varies from machine to machine. Usually having lots of sims slows down the neighborhood, but as long as your machine can handle it, it's fine
I play it as you would usually if you play rotationally :) I've read the limit is 1000 characters which I don't have anywhere near that at the moment. If it becomes unplayable I'd probably just make a new one but I check the character files in the character files folder in the hood folder for this uberhood and keep an eye on it every once in awhile. I also make lots of backups so if it does happen I can go back to a previous save.
bruh your olde town basically functions as an afterlife atm thats so dope

Parker Langerak, Kaylynns brother 🤣 ain't no spider man here loll

If PV, ST and Veronavile as a subhood, are those automatically randomized sims names?
There's more than the Snooty Patooty in Sims 1 yo download. There's the Jones, and a couple others too.
