I decided I as too lazy (and didn't have the extra time) to make the Christmas Lights Node so I went ahead and purchased it. I just have to say that it is amazing! I plan on incorporating it into more things than I should and I'm very excited. Thank you for making that Ryan.
This is a really nice tutorial! Also one thing at 23:28, you could press N to access the vertex properties, and over on the x-location and y-location, make it 0 to be perfectly centered (Local or Global since the origin is in the center anyway)
What I love most about your tutorials is that you are very detailed with what you are doing. Not in a boring way either, but a nice steady pace. I am kinda in between noob and intermediate and your tutorials kick ass!
This is going to be so fun! I wanna add this to my 3d animation I'm trying to make. I swear Ryan is the best place to go to learn about blender. If I only found you earlier this year I could have started my blender journey earlier!
Excellent tutorial! As a fellow Blender user who also loves this time of year, I love seeing people create festive Blender tutorials and you're one of the few out there who consistently produces them every year. Keep up the great work! As for some tutorial suggestions, maybe something involving Holly?
Awesome video! Just a tip - instead of using a super large random number to randomize rotation around an axis, you can type “tau” into the max which is 2 * Pi (360 degrees in radians).
Firstly, Excellent Tutorial! I had a slight issue with getting to the "Light Linking" portion and I figured out that is is not an option if you use EEVEE Rendering. Switched to Cycles and it popped up instantly! Other than that little snag, lovely tutorial and thank you!
Question: Do you have others who help you come up with tutorial ideas or do you run the channel on your own. Either way, you have some really great content :)
Beautiful tutorial, Ill have to give it a try, to add another layer of realism, you could place a light finger prints texture on the red bauble in the scene :)
Appreciated for your tutorials, I easily understand them as a beginner. I was following your sci-fi airlock corridor tutorial, and in the texture painting phase, I noticed that the lines of the plates weren't drawn straight; they were not fully aligned. Could you consider making a video about painting shapes with perfectly straight lines in texture painting? Currently, I find myself having to loop cut my mesh to create straight lines in texture painting...
Hey dear Ryan Sir can you share some of the books related procedural work or learn blender please. As i am very aspire to learn blender and happy with your work.
Hello Ryan My english is not very good how revent needles from getting through the Christmas bauble Do you need to validate Node geometry? and move the needles manually. Or is there another solution? Thank you for everything you do, it's impeccable
I re-set blender to its factory settings, and there is still a shading tab. But yeah, if you don't have one, just click on the plus icon and add a new shading workspace.
@@RyanKingArt Are you talking about the shading tab at the top for materials? I was talking about the shading tab you opened at 39:06 to get to the light linking options
Hi Ryan! I'm making this right now for christmas tomorrow. I dont know what I did but the moment I put the object info's geometry to the instance my needles lost its shape and became round like a pancake. IThe combine XYZ and random value doesnt seem to work for me either🤔. Does anyone know why this happened?🤗 Thx!
Can you PLEASE post a tutorial on how to make a star ribbon gift bow in Blender? I’m talking about the typical bows that you can buy in a bag with the sticky piece on the back to stick them to a gift…. The one with all the coned shaped ribbons almost. I have never seen a tutorial for that specific bow done in blender yet. This now here, but in blender obviously 😂 ruclips.net/video/1Rw8O3alLi4/видео.htmlsi=f7615VXG2aEd5PVO

Amazing 🤩
Thanks!
You are the best tutorials teacher!
thanks!
That looks *real* (and beautiful). Nice work!
thank you so much! Merry Christmas!
the way you made the branches using geonodes is awesome! geonodes be the future of blender
Yeah, I still find Geo-Nodes kinda overwhelming, and I still have so much to learn, but I figured out a great way to add needles to the branches. 😄

Glad you like it! Merry Christmas!

Brilliant tutorial Ryan. I thought your video thumbnail was a reference photo! You have packed so much into 50 mins.
thanks!
What a great tutorial with so many incredible tips. Thank you for your work!
You are welcome!
Perfect! Love this.
Thanks for the past Christmas playlist.
you're welcome. Merry Christmas!
Another good one--thanks, Ryan!
Since I found your tutorial, I enjoy blender more than before.
glad to hear that!
Thanks for video! I like it
glad to hear that!
Hey Ryan, I really really like the new (?) screen cast key display. Its nice and big and it shows up more "last hitted" keys... Like it!
Thanks! The old screencast keys addon I used isn't working in Blender 4.0, so for the time being, I downloaded a screencast keys program for Linux.
This is going to be so fun! I wanna add this to my 3d animation I'm trying to make. I swear Ryan is the best place to go to learn about blender. If I only found you earlier this year I could have started my blender journey earlier!
Hope you enjoy it! Merry Christmas!
Good work
Thanks!

efficient and beautiful work 👍
Thank you!
A lot of amazing tips and help! I have been trying to get my head around blender for a while now - thanks!
thanks for watching!

Ahh ok. I didn't know eevee doesn't support it. I just use cycles more of the time. thanks for sharing!
Bought the lights. They look great.
thanks for your support!
@@RyanKingArt no problem. Thank you for all the tutorials. They’re great, and very much appreciated.

I run the channel completely on my own, but I do get tons of people commenting with video requests. 🙂
Awesome. Thank you for the video content that you make :)

This is awesome. Could you make a procedural Christmas garland/wreath tutorial. I have been trying for a while and I can’t get it to look right.
thanks for the video idea, I will consider it.
nice! THX

You know what'd be cool? Procedural ginger bread houses..... Or just a ginger bread house modeled.. you did cookies last year....
Great idea!

bro i forgor that it was almost christmas lol, also idk why i keep forgetting geometry nodes are thing lol
Haha, thanks for watching!
I have a strong fear of geometry nodes
it would be cool if you did a laughing Santa scene 🎅
Thanks for the tutorial idea, but I'm not really interested in making any Santa stuff.
Hey dear Ryan Sir can you share some of the books related procedural work or learn blender please. As i am very aspire to learn blender and happy with your work.
Hmm, I've never read any books on learning blender.
Sir then kindly make a tutorial on learning blender fast@@RyanKingArt
Hello Ryan

how revent needles from getting through the Christmas bauble
Do you need to validate Node geometry? and move the needles manually.
Or is there another solution?
Thank you for everything you do, it's impeccable
I don't really know how to avoid the needles going through the ornaments, other then manually placing them.
39:06 hmm, i don't see the shading tab in my version. I am using v4.0.1 though... Did they move it? The light is selected
You should be able to make a new tab with the plus button at the end of the bar at the top. You can then make a shading tab I think.
I re-set blender to its factory settings, and there is still a shading tab. But yeah, if you don't have one, just click on the plus icon and add a new shading workspace.

hmm.... maybe try applying the scale of the objects?
Plz make videos on animation in cocomelon nursery rhymes how to create like that plzz ❤❤❤❤❤
