Was there a blooper at 8:10? The interlude was a bit longer I observed. if there was, it's likely Brad not holding on to the strap on time or he had trouble finding it before the helicopter can rise
I was a stage manager on the show in Australia. There are about 20 crew all directly being utilised to pull this transition and scene together and there are several clearances from various departments to allow the orchestra to proceed. Not a blooper, just a safety measure. It's written into the score as a sustain for the orchestra. That said the orchestra does take an extra second to kick in during this clip (you can hear the take off sound effect begin at 8:13 which is the same cue for the orchestra change). Hope this helps!
