    Stuff we use:
LENS - Most people ask us what camera we use, no one ever asks about the lens which filmmakers always tell us is more important. This lens was a big investment for us and one we wish we could have made sooner. Started using this lens at the end of 2013 - amzn.to/2tbtmOq
    AUDIO
Rode VideoMic Pro - The Rode mic helps us capture our backup audio. It also helps us sync up our audio in post amzn.to/2t1n2hx
Audio Recorder - If we had to do it all over again, this is probably the first item we would have bought - amzn.to/2tbFlM9
LIGHTS - Although we like to use as much natural light as we can, we often enhance the lighting with this small portable light. We have two of them and they have saved us a number of times - amzn.to/2u5UnHv
COMPUTER - Our favorite computer, we each have one and have used various models since 2010 - amzn.to/2t1M67Z
EDITING - We upgraded our editing suite this year and we’re glad we did! This has improved our workflow and the quality of our work. Having new software also helps when we have a problem, it’s easy to search and find a solution - goo.gl/56LnpM

Not much. I take the same approach. Just shorter scenes.

Question: whats the best way to learn how to screen write.? I have stories I would like to write out and sale or pitch but I don’t know how to write them; professionally. Does film school teach that, or maybe any online classes that are recommended.? Thanks

I don't know if you take questions for interviews from comments, but i was wondering: Should screenwriters read the script of a film before watching it? Is reading a script important or could you just watch the film?

No such thing as wrong as long as your intention and the story it gives off is positive (thus if the film has bullies then it's part of real life). I think it would be great to do it.

One thing that I did was have my idea play in my head as if it was already made. Almost like watching a movie in my head and typing out what I saw. Idk if that makes sense or would be easy for others but it worked for me. Once I got the first draft done(which your first is going to be horrible when you first reread it don’t worry! lol) I then went back and plugged in, changed, and took out scenes to better connect it all to make a good story. I went through 4 drafts before I got mine how I wanted it

The hardest part with shorts is finding actors and locations. Everything else is fairly straightforward.
