I Bought The White Bunn Gear Command Center In 2020 The Best Investment I've Ever Made I Get Lots Of Compliments On The Look. I Keep All Of My Gear In It. I Take It Apart In Two Sections. I Have No Problems Carrying It To My Gigs.
I was looking for hoerboard but few things were not practical for me.. so I did remake them with CNC (and its a bigger project then expected) with room in the base for digital mixers, microphone base, wires, hdmi to sdi converters etc. and it ended awesome.. (I didnt knew they can make them custom) added integration with leds too.. built 4 of them (2 whites and two blacks) with modifications each time to try new ideas.. now I am modifying insane and epic vintage speakers to match the visuals of those boards. did make for each one a full custom roadcase (cost is around 1700$ each here) and I always use a trailler for those kits. I still can do a gig with no trailler but with the SZ and no fourniture (my truck is always loaded with 2 subs, 4 tops, SZ and some lights) traillers are loaded with full gig kits (each trailler have a kit) so you pin and leave. awesome for employees! I'm a full time DJ and those booth changed the game! we find assistants for gigs, its all already wirered inside, looking amayzing, lots of interraction with clients!
I bought the bunn gear at the expo at 200 off. Joe had one white left with a black top for my rane 4. Joe sent me the white top a week, no problem. Having my mics power conditioner external mixer save on set up time. I really only use this for my weddings and large events, so I bring an assistant for those events to help. Joe bunn is really great for the mobile dj.
Good video - i think you talked me out of the Humpter Booth because if you need to replace parts and pieces already thats not a good sign ! So its either the Bunn Booth or the Danny Max booth
I have the Hoerboard Stereo T and the Humpter B3 (and Humpter Move WD but don't think that's available in the US). My go-to is the Humpter, it's so light compared to the other options, easy to transport and looks ok. I just now purchased the wooden frontpanel for it and can't wait to use it. Then there's the Hoerboard. I love it's sleek look. I get so many compliments when I take it out but it's so impractical. I'm thinking of having a road case built for it like Nick has in the hopes it will be more manageable. I have such a love-hate relationship with it. Against better judgement I am considering adding the Hoerboard Classic and the new Twenty Four to my collection this year since I just love the aesthetic. Definitely will only offer them in my top packages. I never really liked the look of the Bunn or the Danny Max. They look so big an bulky, especially the Danny Max and that makes them (in my opinion) unattractive. I had the stereo T before I knew these existed and if you compare the looks they come nowhere close (again imho).
feel the same! and yes the roadcase for transport is the right solution. its unpractical for the size and you need to roll it back in the trailler or into a backroom, but its the right solution
I think they all look great, just can’t see myself spending that much for a booth. I still like having a controller road case the best overall. Super durable, affordable, and protects everything to be an all in one unit.
Great video as usual. Thank you for all your hard work on all your videos. I loved the Humpter DJ booth the first time I saw it years ago, but your video definitely pushed me over the edge to buy one. I ordered it and it took months to get just like you said. However, I’m not going to use it all the time it is very big and bulky and heavy just like you say. But I will use it occasionally I have other DYI dj furniture /booths that is lighter and that I like to use.
I own a Danny Max Booth and my best DJ buddy has the ProX Control Tower. I think of all the ones I have seen the best bang for the buck is the Prox Control Tower. It is portable, very durable, and comes with different options for top plates. I recently changed from a DDJ1000 to a rane one and having to contact Danny Max and pay $250 and wait for them to send me a new top plate was super annoying. I love all the options you have as well though!
Thanks for sharing your experiences! I've seen the ProX Control Tower in person and it's a solid implementation! I like it's flight case. I ultimately steered away because of the lack of rack-mount, the top wasn't large enough for many controllers and my soundswitch control one to be embedded, and I felt like it'd be too darn heavy in the wooden flight case.
ProX is not compatible for most of the gear.. no turntables ..and you want turn tables. its like being a chef and cooking with real raw food and fire in the face of clients ..and controllers have a visual of a microwave. so we focus on the quality of the food, but its also entertainment
i like the humpter, but i couldnt justify the price for me, i bought a simpler table and then used the saved cash to help purchase more dj lighting instead

Awesome! 🙌
Too pricey , I'll stick with my old school $600 facade lol

totally agree, you need different dj booths for different setups (indoor/outdoor/nice venue/shitty venue)
All I use is a 4ft Costco adjustable table with nice scrim it works great for me ☝🏽❤️🙏🏽
Ultimately the most important thing is finding what works for you 💪
@@DJDarylBennett yes thank you I really appreciate you taking the time to put out good video about the equipment and lighting. ☝🏽❤️🙏🏽
Bunny gear booth seems it can get heavy when you rack mount stuff in it. But agree it seems most practical for mobile DJs
I've some people load a ton of stuff in their's. Mine wasn't that loaded

I am happy that you were able to get one! It looks awesome
Can the bun booth be ordered to have a wolf mix cutout instead of soundswitch ?
I just purchased the Neo 4 by modern council. Seems like the best of the bunny booth and a tv booth.
Glad you found something that you like!
that looks so cool !

@ very valid point! I love the analogy! I agree 100%. I wish I could fit my Rane 12s and Rane 72 in a Prox!

There you go! You gotta do what makes sense for you and your business
