Thank you for sharing! This was so wonderful to watch! I love your addition of the “Pen Award” Categories! So fun! I hope to record my top 5 this weekend 😊
I have been shuffling 580 ALR and 580 Mini in my twsbi cart since 1 year. I love the posting of mini but nib of regular one. Still not decided yet. Very nice collection of pens you have.
I really like this a lot. I may do one myself. Did I go and look at the new Asvine V126 pens? Yes, I did. Did I add some to my pen wish list? Yes, I did. ☺
such a fun video. Loved the categories :) I definitely agree about the Benu Schmidt nibs! The Cancer in PM lite is lovely. I could be interested, depending on price.
Love the categories! That TWSBI ! 🌟 It matches your nails today. I write with my TWSBI Diamond 580 Smoke and Rose Gold EF daily. It performs perfectly with my Robert Oster Rose Gold Antiqua shimmer ink. I never have trouble with TWSBI nibs and shimmer inks. They are my go-to shimmer ink pens. I’m considering downsizing as well. Maybe this project will help me decide. Thanks for sharing. 🖋️♥️
@@MarcellHobbs wow and that is a great test bc rose gold antiqua has a bad rep for clogging pens! It’s just so great!! I love that we are twsbi twins 🤍
I am loving my Pilot Custom 74 with an SF nib that I am so tempted to buy that nib in more expensive models from Pilot like the 742 or 743. I also am not interested in specialty nibs at the moment.
I have bought a lot of cheap pens to try, also to experience and learn what I like personally. However. You said you can’t afford a Pelikan or Pilot Custom 823. I realised looking at my collection of pens that if I had bought fewer cheap pens, I would have been able to afford a classic one. Just sayin’……..😉 I have bought some Pelikans though and I learned that I don’t like feedback (once I learned what that was!) and the Pelikans are wonderfully smooth.
@@lindastormonth4764 hahah you right you right! One big purchase just seems so far out of reach compared to 10-20-30 here and there! But you’re totally right!
Schmidt nibs are 100% amazing! I always go for them if there is a choice (between say, a Jowo or Bock nib) I've never had a Schmidt nib fail me. And Asvine is another brand where you can't go wrong. I love Nahvalur (Narwhal) designs & resins, I just really wish they offered an EF nib! 😭
The Asvine pens are great, and I own at least one of each model. My current EDC is the Asvine J16 with the JOWO broad nib, but I must admint that I really like the Asvime brand nibs that are on the P20 and the V126. I just wish that Asvine would expand their own brand line to include Broad, Stubs, Obliques, and Architect.
Thanks for sharing Elyse! I put a TWSBI pen on my Christmas list this year, and if I don't get it, I'm going to buy one myself in part because of all the ways you sing their praise lol. Do you find yourself wanting to pare things down in general in the Wintertime, or is that urge fountain-pen-specific?
@@SoImAlexa I hope you love it whenever you get it!! ❣️ i do sometimes feel the need to minimize things!! This is the first time it has been fountain pen specific 🥲 I’ve been thinking a lot about having cherished possessions that are well used and loved and the juxtaposition of that with collecting a lot of something and never truly cherishing them because it’s always something new etc. so I guess I’m searching for that simplicity and feeling of treasured ness lol
Love your Fav's of 2024. if you're considering selling the Narwhal original plus nebulosa laguna, I'm interested. Please let me know how to pm you for details.
