you see the corner at the end of the bow? it just goes in the book like that. it doesn't go between pages and it is just like a normal bookmark if that's what you wanted to know

You don't need to fix it. You just have to insert the bottom corner of the bookmark between multiple pages.

actually, on the back of the bookmark, there is a little flap. You insert the book page under that flap
