As an outsider (I'm in the UK) I'd say the big thing about Trump was he was open about his intentions, whether it was good or bad for him. You had Hillary going around making speeches, going on about laws, finances, the economy, world events etc etc then you had Trump getting to the point, saying "We have a problem with immigration. I'm going to build this big f*** off wall and sort this problem out." He was simple and to the point. That's a big part of why people liked him. No slimey, poltical BS, basically.

This is 100% true. It’s sad because many Americans fail to see this themselves lol.

Great commentary! We don’t often seem to hear from sensible, rational non extremists on the subject of politics. I’ve only ever seen you with your friends commenting on pop culture (which I enjoy by the way). It takes some guts putting yourself out there knowing how vicious the trolls can be. I look forward to hearing more from your perspective. You have a new subscriber from the UK. One thing that has always bothered me about both Trump and Biden being the candidates for president is that given the talent in the US, you are stuck with two individuals who are in different ways unfit to represent you. The American people deserve the best to lead their country.

Thank you! Unfortunately, Americas presidential candidates reflect our nation for the most part

Hey Enri! Nice to see you back. One thing, you said something like "no other country treats immigrants better/has done more to right it's past when it comes to race than the US". This seems like a statement taken out of thin air. Have you studied every other country in the world deeply enough to know if this is actually true? No. South Africa comes to mind just off the top of my head with the rightings of past race wrongs. So as you said about Charla's statement(which is obviously false) don't get lazy and just say things that sound good, without basis in fact. Just a tip from the coach. Onward.

Fair point. The reason I would exclude a country like South Africa is because some of the backlash and violence that was directed towards primarily white SA’s. From what I’ve read, the post apartheid response hasn’t been too kind to them. Other than that, due diligence is always good

@@officialenri Yeah, SA just popped up in my head as an example. One thing to remember is that some countries might not have engaged in race based slavery so there would be no wrong to right in the first place, which would be a better starting point. Another thing that came to mind is why americans(or at least US americans) seem to always wanna say "The us is the best country in the world". Again, said by many people who never travelled anywhere or can't possibly know since they've only ever lived in one or a few countries out of all on earth. Just seems stupid. Also if a person constantly in all situations say they are the best we would consider them insecure and like they had something to prove. Like "new/ok money" being flashy while Bill Gates dresses like shit. The US has no reason to be insecure so why act like it through saying you're "the best"?

I’m so sick of the word “racism”
    It only works one way.
Normalise racism if that’s what it takes.
