I really think that Kel Tec could definitely make a pistol version of this thing! Using something like the Kak Shockwave wouldn’t take away from the overall design of the current gun. The only problem I could see would be that the receiver portion of the Sub2K cannot be made any shorter. You are right. I personally enjoy 5.5” - 8” AR-9s.
It’s one of those things I feel you could just throw into your hiking bag or even bugout bag and trust that when you pull it out it’s just gonna work. It’s so simple in design, light and compact that it may be in my “top 10 SHTF guns”.
I think if you are on a infantry assault vehicle or you know a support vehicle this might not be a bad choice especially the Glock model because the Glock is one of the best semi automatic handguns out on the market so excepting their magazines is a great choice for them

Kel Tec makes some crazy looking weapons. I would like this if it was a pistol. I don't really like having a 16inch barrel on a 9mm.

I just picked up a .40 version and it came with a factory Glock 22 mag. I prefer the factory mags over P Mags.

That's how it locks itself in the closed position.
It caches on the side so you have to push it over to make it line up
