Jin Akanishi (赤西仁 born February 28, 1978) is a Japanese modern-nude male dancer. He was born on February 28, 1978 in Tokyo, Japan. He started acting in modern-nude films in July 2006 at age of 28.

Why I said his being mean to other members (and sometimes to other people) "to a certain extent had negative impacts to his career" is that, virtually no one likes to work with or help someone who quite often says nasty/mean comments or does such things. Bullying others, hurting others' self-esteem, even if he did it just for fun and had no malicious intent. There are were rumors that Jin left Kattun because some members couldn't tolerate him anymore and voted that they didn't want him in the group. And from some shows, one can see that Jin didn't look happy sitting with other members. If you look at other older shows, the atmosphere (when the members were together) or the way they interacted with one another was fairly different. Jin were like buddies and were at ease with them. But in Cartoon KT, Jin gave ma a feeling that he felt a bit like an outcast. He looked sulky. Of course there were other reasons why he was sulky, but I can't help feeling "he had some problem with some of the KT members" was one of the factors why he left Kattun. Leaving Kattun had both advantages and disadvantages. But it seems that if he had stayed in Kattun, he would have had more opportunities to play a role in more dramas, shows, etc. And these are beneficial to his career.
accbcell Ah~ Why he acted that way no one knows for sure. Maybe. But he likes what he's doing now and he's successful and he's happy with his life now so let's just be happy for him and congratulate him for the latest award he got :)))
