    If you are going to ship a hollow item ie: a lamp shade. Pack the inside also, it is the shockwave that breaks brittle material ie: glass, porcelain.
    There are 3 or 4 securing screws on lamps like that one, slacken them remove the top cap and fill with void fill or bubble wrap if you don't have anything better, even newspaper is better than nothing. Keeping my fingers crossed for the glass lampshade.
    I'm a professional packer, and I know all about shipping hollow items (often having to dismantle things before shipping in order to secure the components).
    Still an informative video and a good start.🤞

    Great show , I have very bad depression. But don’t talk about it as it brings my loved ones much upset, so always hide it. But just love you folks. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💙❤️💚🥰🤗

    Great content Nic. I use IPS for heavy large items. That 1st Royal Mail parcel did that go medium size cos it look a bit big for small parcel. Cheers Pete 🐒

      There's no small and medium size when you use RM48 but it is only for parcels up to 2kg

    Nic, the 2.7kg parcel I would have sent with the 123g parcel RM24 combined weight =2at 1.5kg. RM24 price is better than Ups for me when I have a couple of parcels below 2kg.
    It is different for me though as I only have Royal Mail in my village and anything else is an 8 mile journey.

    Hardly anyone can hear me when I talk on my phone so I've ordered a small mic for my phone. Didn't know they existed for phones until I saw this, so thanks for that. Hopefully it works 😊

    Interesting video today, thank you. I’ve been using mostly Hermes for the last couple years but just has a parcel go “missing” very upsetting, also proves that tracking is useless really? So I’ve switched to Royal Mail but their tracked service is so expensive when selling low priced items, it’s a conundrum 🤷‍♀️

    • @margaretroberts2109
      @margaretroberts2109 2 года назад +2

      Hi Becky, there tracked 24 & 48 is expensive but there normal service of 24 & 48 is much cheaper but it only has delivered not fully tracked. You need to have a business account with them to access this and it is code CRL

    I cringed when you broke the polystyrene blocks - that stuff goes everywhere and the small parts stick to everything!

    the new mic sounds great, i would maybe not wear it when packaging with tape though as it was a really high pitched noise through headphones

    is there any advantage paying for postage via paypal funds rather than paypal taking it direct from the bank?

    • @munchkinheaven7877
      @munchkinheaven7877 2 года назад

      I am interested in that too, I pay via PayPal or most if not all items but don’t have any funds in my PayPal account so it goes to PayPal which then goes to my bank, am I still covered by Paypals policies such as non received policy if it’s not delivered? When they used to be affiliated with eBay, their complaints policy was longer than ebays 30 days!

    May need to tweak with that microphone, it is peaking often and is hurting my ears and I assume others with headphones
