I made this. I can't remember much about doing it but I will say, that working with girls who just want to have a laugh and take the piss is way more fun than working with the "Too cool for school" rock bands we were normally.
That goes in general too! Gals who are fun and funny and don't treat you like you're kak on their shoe are the best gals. They're one in a million though.
Brilliant - thanks for the upload and the heads-up. It's actually as much fun as I remember it - they look younger than I remember, no doubt because I was younger then too.
I remember hearing this on the radio when it came out - the first version of this song I heard. 26 years and a random googling later, I found it again! A good version, although it doesn't add much to the original.
Video pretty much sums the 90s up. A bit of fun, no one taking themsleves too seriously, high streets full of open shops and life. People actually spoke to another another and interacted.
Wow, another flop single I bought posted here by the divine "ohnoitisnathan". Don't know why it didn't chart as I prefer it to the original. Never seen the video before. Thank you (yet again).
One is named Claudia. But there is nothing else on the internet about either of them. They were once in a group of three called Milan in the early 90's. One, Martine McCutcheon went on to bigger things. The two above became The Peaches, covered this song and disappeared.
@@vinorob I remember Milan! Girl pop groups didn't seem to do that well in the early 90s; groups like Eternal fared better by latching onto the R&B/swing scene. It wasn't until the Spice Girls took off that the poppier girl groups got more interest. Sadly that wasn't much help for Milan or the Peaches...
This was the first version of Christmas Wrapping I ever heard. I remember seeing it on The Chart Show and laughing at such a cheap and lame video, but the melody certainly stuck in my head as I recognised it 4 years later when Spice Girls did their version of it, and that's become the one I know best but I do love the original by The Waitresses too. However, I'll always have a soft spot for this rubbish 1994 attempt!

Well... it did chart. At #128. Ha ha. I love those flop chart positions.
Best xmas song
I love this 'popped' up version of the song even more than the original.
This song should be heard/played a lot more than it is. Brilliant 🎉
Love these Girls upbeat Fun.Where are they now?
Anyone remember the name of other songs they did, am sure there was one with a similar vid to this? ta
Cheesy but likeable, ha. Girls having a laugh.
