You could see his locker room, bench and on ice presence since coming to Boston. He wasn’t 100% so an off-season will do him good. Some strength and conditioning and he will definitely be a different player next year. B’s should sign him but only for league minimum.

Love Patty. Hope the Bs are able to resign him for next season.

Yeah 10 minutes for intimidation on Cousins. Thanks Refs. I'm not blaming Maroon. He came in after surgery. I blame Sweeney. You get a big guy because Florida gooned you up last year and you end up having your top goal scorer fight a goon. Was trading for Maroon just a placebo for the fans?

@@arthurmcdermott3312 I don’t know, but he was so slow. I think he cost us. Should have healed a little longer after back surgery before he came back to play.

I think he was a waste of space. Too old, too slow, didn't have the impact that was expected. Give a younger and up and comber thee spot. Pat has had his day.

You have back surgery and go play in the Stanley cup playoffs . I'm sure you'd be awesome. I'd sign him he'll be better next season.

He wasn’t 100 % either. Just off back surgery he did good getting back into shape.

Maroon made $1M last season. Similar to what James VanReimsdyk and Kevin Shattenkirk made. I'd be shocked if B's gave Maroon anything north of $1.5/ $2 M to play here. Maroon took the role that Lucic was supposed to be doing for the same $ . Bruins may go $1.5 with incentives to go to $2m .

    • @loucat2779

Big Rig brings so much more to the table than Looch was going to. Not sure Lucic could catch up to anyone to hit them anymore. Pat's a man with a passion for the game and willing to teach the young-uns too. He wants to stay, all I needed to hear, open up that checkbook Donny. A couple finishers would be nice, unlike the Milk Carton Kids Coyle, Zacha, JVR, Freddie, should I go on?

Maroon was way to slow for us this year. We brought him in for the playoffs and I saw no impact. I say don't keep him. Hey what happened to Kevin Shattenkirkhe just disappeared after the last Toronto game.

Maroon came off a back surgery going into the playoffs. He was out for over 2 months. Go watch him this season for Minnesota pre surgery. He's obviously a 4th liner at this point bur his leadership and the weight he holds with the team is more then worth the min contract he would probably accept to stay. Give him a full off season and let him get his skates back under him.

@@matthewwebber45I think he came back too early, he was not beneficial. However, I respect the hell out of him for showing leadership and comforting Swayman after the end of game 6.
