    When I can't sleep at night, I turn to this song, as sung here. It gives me comfort and emunah. 'Shavateinu kabel ushema tsa'atakeinu' is the line I love. Comforting music by Ovadia Hamama.

    Having recently acquired a desire to learn the Hebrew language I came across this powerful prayer for the first time in my life.I am 77 years old and-for lack of a better description-a gentile never completely happy to be called a Christian.I'm now able to sing along every word applying the meaning given in English. As I live alone I have no witnesses to testify as to how much these Holy words have changed me. But I know- and so does our Creator - the difference it has made in me. Thank you

    We must resume Kabbalistic origins of the Torah so that all his divinity is felt by us and the Breath of the Holy One of Israel find housing within us.

    Hello to all of you, I don't understand why this prayer makes me sad, and makes me cry like a sort of happiness, but an internal happiness like time is stopping and makes me analyse my entire life and realise that it was totally crap that all was lost that I haven't have yet any sense of love and compassion. Here I am soo confused!? I am listening and I don't see the light at the end of the tunnel or if is there but is moving away from me...how do I change it? What can I do to believe in happiness?

      +ReviewCam Powerful - I hope so. I know that when in the evening I feel annoyed or irritated about something the day has brought me, there is a good chance that listening to Ana Bekoach will soften me up and make the energy stream again. Best to you!

      +ReviewCam I have always been a temperamental man and have often regretted my outbursts. During the last few years I have changed for the better and for this my Judaism is of help to me. Ana Bekoach is special to me, as indicated above. I would not want to get hellish with you at all, I just referred to a character weakness of mine. Again, best to you.

    Myriam I too share your orientation towards Judaism. I am not sure if I will convert though given the obstacles. I studied a year of Hebrew but life events overtook me but I hope to get back to it next year. It is something that interests me greatly and perhaps that will assist me with the difficulty of the language and no-one to learn with. The Internet course I did was expensive for me.

    Ana Bekoach Prayer Lyrics
    Ana becho’ach, g’dulat yemincha, tatir tz’rura
    Kabel rinat amcha sagveinu, tahareinu nora
    Na gibor dorshei yichudcha, k’vavat shamrem
    Barchem taharem, rachamei tzidkatcha
    Tamid gamlem, chasin kadosh
    Berov tuvcha, nahel adatecha
    Yachid ge’eh le’amcha p’neh, zochrei k’dushatecha
    Shavateinu kabel ushma tza’akateinu, yode’a ta’alumot
    (Baruch shem k’vod malchuto le’olam va’ed)

    Translation
    We beg thee with the strength and greatness of thy right arm.
    Accept your people’s song, elevate and purify us
    Please, heroic one, those who pursue your uniqueness-
    guard them as the pupil of an eye.
    Bless them, purify them, pity them,
    may your righteousness always reward them.
    Powerful and Holy One, in goodness lead your flock.
    Unique and proud one, to your people turn,
    who remember your holiness.
    Accept our cries, and hear our screams,
    oh knower of mysteries.
    (Blessed is the name of his noble kingdom
    forever and ever.)

    According to the Kabbalah wisdom - The 72 names of God holds tremendous powerful energy and deep spiritual meaning. The origin of the 72 Names of God is referred to the Crossing of the Red Sea (Exodus 14:19-21) were Moses stretched out his hand over the sea and the lord drove the sea back and the waters were divided. Each name of the 72 names has its own unique powerful meaning, target and strength. Each name connects specific earthly aspect with the divine, spiritual heavenly matching world. Each earthly aspect in our daily lives can be healed and improved by the force of the matching name of God.

    Decodificando a primeira frase do cântico אנא בכח, Ana Bechoach:
    א = 1 (boi)
    ב = 2 (casa)
    ג = 3 (camelo)
    י = 10 (mão)
    ת = 400 (cruz)
    צ = 90 (gafanhoto)
    Total = 506
    5 + 6 = 11
    יא = 11
    A união do poder da (Mão) Direita com a fraqueza do (boi), o Servo Sofredor.
    1 + 1 = 2 = ב = casa (Templo)
    2 = HaShem e sua Mão Direita, o Mashiach, ou seu Ungido unidos restaurando o Templo (2 = casa = ב) e executando o bendito plano de redenção, salvação, libertação e livramento do ser humano. B"H!
    O Servo (boi) Sofredor pagou o preço da redenção da (Casa) de Israel e das nações. Agora o (camelo) pode saciar sua sede tranquilamente. Pois a (mão) do Servo Sofredor foi ferida, perfurada na (cruz) livrando a terra da seca e da praga do (gafanhoto).
    Baruch Shem Kevod Malchuto Leolam Vaed!
    Bendito é o Nome d'Aquele cujo Glorioso Reino é Eterno!
    A condenação dos inimigos de D'us e do Mashiach:
    506 = ת + ק + ו
    ת = 400 (cruz)
    ק = 100 (macaco)
    ו = 6 (gancho ou anzol)
    Na crucificação, ou na (cruz) a besta (macaco) foi condenada e presa com um anzol (gancho).

      א = 1 (ox)
      ב = 2 (home)
      ג = 3 (camel)
      י = 10 (hand)

      צ = 90 (locust)
      Total = 506
      5 + 6 = 11
      יא = 11
      The union of the power of the Right (Hand) with the weakness of the (Ox), the Suffering Servant.
      1 + 1 = 2 = ב = house (Temple)
      2 = HaShem and his Right Hand, the Moshiach, or his Anointed One united in restoring the Temple (2 = house = ב) and executing the blessed plan of redemption, salvation, liberation and deliverance of the human being. B"H!
      The Suffering Servant (Ox) paid the price of the redemption of the (House) of Israel and the nations. Now the (camel) can calmly quench its thirst. For the (hand) of the Suffering Servant was wounded, pierced on the (cross) delivering the land from the drought and the plague of the (locust).
      Baruch Shem Kevod Malchuto Leolam Vaed!
      Blessed is the Name of Him whose Glorious Kingdom is Eternal!

    May the Peace and Blessings of Allah, El-Shadah, El-Ohim, be upon you. The Kabbalah prayer is beautiful and the prayer has been answered. Islam is the perfection, of the way of life that was given to all the prophets, from Adam, Abraham, Moses, Jesus(Easa), and Mohammed( May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon all of his messengers). Allah has answered the prayer that you so beautifully sang. He has ordain for you the way of life of Abraham your father and he has named it Islam. Will you hear the call or will you allow the rock of truth to crush you and your pride. I know you will banned me from this page, but you should know when truth comes it knocks out falsehoods brains......Shalom....

      Please, sir, this is a JEWISH prayer I never understood why Christians and Muslims come on to a Jewish video clearly Jewish and insert their opinions about their God on a beautiful Hebrew song a Hebrew Jewish prayer. Have some respect. Remember the Jews received the Ten Commandments at Mount Sinai not Islam not Christianity.
