We need more tracks from the actual games in the third movie. Sonic games have notoriously good music, and it's almost criminal that they've been replaced with whatever is popular at the moment in the movies.
Weird suggestion: what if a director's cut/definitive edition of the movie is released that replaces the other tracks with orchestration from the games? Like, rally fanmusic creators who really wanted to let the Sonic series' musical heritage shine through, and then have them provide a cinematic rendition of the Sonic games' music? (Granted there may be some issues in securing original composer rights for covers...)
The one thing these movies lack is more musical cue from the game. Not just somethings like "oh look Tom's ring tone is Green Hill Zone" but actual orchestral rearrangement of the game tunes to fit scene within the movie. Sonic fan base is often split but one thing we can all agree on is Sonic has some of the best music in gaming and hearing these familiar tunes in the movie would be very impactful especially if use in the right time.
This Emerald Hill Remix Sounds AWESOME!! Why Didn't They Play This Song in the Actual Movie? Especially in the Opening Credits. That Would've Been Amazing! I Would Start Crying Because of How Good It Is and the Nostalgia of Playing the Old Sonic Games!

The fact that the this is so serios sounding when it literaly is just 1 alien earth based animal meets another because the first one is aHero then a mad scientist is somehow alive and he has a another alien earth based animal that very strong and they race for big green gem and then bad guy gets it and uses gem power for bad and the 3 alien animals team up to fight the scientist and they win the end
