- It took us 2 years to get to this crash site, not a fun hike.
At time of uploading this is the only video on youtube that documents this wreck.
check out still shots of this wreck and many others on my instagram: www.instagram....
Big thank you to the friends who adventure with me and make these videos possible.
this accident took place in 1944.
we do not take anything from these wrecks, we are here to preserve history through film, and honor those who came before us.
That's awesome, and congrats on finding it. Last winter in the Catskills I bushwhacked to a plane crash in a very remote location. Was so difficult , took me 3 trips to finally locate it.
Awesome ✌️
Great video!!! Yes, I like this kind of stuff 👍
👋
I did this hike a few years ago. just a couple of teenagers with a sketchy GPS and a dream! 😂 we actually found it within 5 hours of hiking In the pouring down rain. it was a very emotional hike
That’s awesome! It’s not an easy hike!
My boy! Good work on this.
Bro it took so long to find this thing lol
What are the coordinates
I was there in 2000
two years is a long time to hike 😅
There is a geocache nearby so if you need help to get there it will be easier
Wow 🙊
DC 3, C-47, Dakota, Gooney Bird.... Names the plane had and Made by Douglas, not Curtis
The old black and white film is a C-47 yes.
The crash site is a C-46 however.
@@ArchitecturalOrphans My bad....
I didn't think anyone would notice in the first hour of uploading haha I just thought the C-47 footage had a better dramatic effect haha, good catch man
