@Ratetacalenta not HIS settings the settings to make lava run solo because idk if its race, or min player 1 or whatever im so confused

You can turn off force default settings and simply lower the lives to 0 or do the same thing as well as changing the mode to race. Without race (what I did) there's no countdown at the start, but with it, there is.
