Thanks man. I know what its like, I feel pretty much destroyed tonight. Hope whatever it was that was bothering you has resolved itself and wish you all the best.
Here after watching the Agassi video where he describes how he decoded Becker's serve by observing where Becker's tongue was just before he served. Pure genuis that.
@ Diego Roberto Alvarez. Boris Becker does not have an ''awful'' serve--he has one of the greatest serves in tennis history. In his 1991 match against Agassi at the French Open, he was obviously hitting some softer serves to try to get Agassi to make errors on the return-of-serve since Agassi was well known during his tennis career to overhit the ball on the return-of-serve.
Wow, you know me so well! Its amazing what people can gather about a person through a single RUclips comment, isn't it? I've learned over the years that we as humans would act exactly the same given the circumstances... If you were having a bad day and had my temperament you might've written something similar to my comment. Most of the time I am a "very nice person" but I am neither good or bad, right or wrong, smart or dumb. These are generalizations.
You know what? You are 100% correct. I was in an extremely bad mood last night when I left that comment and I genuinely appreciate you calling me on my bullshit. :-) Cheers.
@RewardHonesty wow, you're so amazing and educated. I wish I could be like you, and analyse a person entirely through single-sentence youtube comments.
This part of the match seems not to be very interesting. So many unforced errors from both of them! Also if you look at the crowd's reaction - it's almost non-existant.
From what I recall the first two sets were quite intense and I think agassi was taking a breather in the 3rd. Left Becker standing in the 4th. Interesting still, is that lulls in matches these days are for much shorter periods.
when tied at 1 set all they're playing cautious cause losing the 3rd is a death nail likely meaning loss of match and even if you come back to win will cause fatigue to ruin your run in the draw during the next match.
@kegsterino12 it came to a head at wimbledon 1995 with comments becker made about how he felt about agassi in general, they were very insulting, agassi wanted to kill him, brad gilbert hated him just as much, complete opposites in personality and it clearly showrd.
It hasn't but it's only because I am my own worst enemy and have an addiction to alcohol that I'm decided to unleash yet again. Not to pry man but why do you feel destroyed?
Agassi really started dominating Becker on every single surface. I would never have thought that just a year prior.
Fantastique ces champions des années 80-90

if you believe him.
Nikhil Deshmukh Becker actually told him that personally. Agassi did not just all of a sudden figure it out.
@@Treize132 i saw a lot of important points, and never observe that Beckers tongue shows serve direction
Rickey Henderson claimed he knew when he could steal a base by the position of the pitcher's throwing elbow when he started his motion.
he's from vegas= poker player always Looking for subtle "signs."
Love Agassi purple. But I miss those Becker shorts. You cannot find them anymore maybe ebay.

@fantana72 Yes, but it's not (always) the case. In the second point of the movie, Becker's tongue points to the left, but he servies to the right.
This was a semi final not a quater final!
@RewardHonesty wow, you're so amazing and educated. I wish I could be like you, and analyse a person entirely through single-sentence youtube comments.
Je veux dire qu'ils ressemblant si jeune !!!...
came to see how Boris Becker kept his tongue out while serving and how Agassi knew that BB serves where his tongue would be.. :P

Alles gut. Kein persönlicher Angriff oder dergleichen. Wie gesagt, ein Austausch von Meinungen.

@diegoroberto29 Yeah, he was only the best server of his generation.

Wow! and Agassi ends up with steffi, life can be crazy, but is def unpredictable.
remember these days of tennis....agassi was such a hottie!
Becker even more, this guy is so fucking intense, so much charisma, just like a hollywood star, like Steve mcQueen
And the point in uploading this video was.... ?
@RewardHonesty yea whatever, try not to take things so seriously, especially youtube.
i knew he was wearing a wig back in 1991, it wasnt a surprise when he went from long hair to baldness in 6 months, LOL
It hasn't but it's only because I am my own worst enemy and have an addiction to alcohol that I'm decided to unleash yet again. Not to pry man but why do you feel destroyed?
If Becker's serve was off, he was a sitting duck.
Jean-Paul Loth, le meilleur !
@Flamestar1989 lol no wtf, he's very handsome
He is not wearing a wig here. ;-)
SEMI FINAL!!!! not quarter final.
omg Boris looks so healthy and attractive here...what happened to beautiful Boris Becker...
beautiful ?? lol, are you blind or drunken ?
@@WONGLER omg, what are you saying? He is sexy as hell, so charismatic. There is something raw and intense about him, you can call it charisma.
I can only agree! He is so charismatic, so raw, so intense!
@@marilou20091 Agassi yes, but not Becker
@@WONGLER lol Matter of taste
Boris becker serve motion is so incomplete. It doesnt have a full swing. He used to a use a thin frame heavy metal racket to get that power.
Manu Presannakumar wrong - the swing starts at exactly where it needs to, and his racket was graphite not metal.
Manu Presannakumar JT is right. He used a graphite/fiberglass raquet. I know because I used it back in the day. Small sweet spot but had a great feel.
peluca de andre....
boring game !
la jeneusse est pas éternel !!....
becker hasan awful serve
