I really have a... idk... I'm not a Spike fan. I just feel some of his thoughts expressed through film can be so ... simple, to be put nicely. Not all of his thoughts ofc however it's just like that feeling when you think someone's gonna hit a home run and then they don't... and it's like that deflated feeling. Like you were going the right way, and then ugh. Well🤷🏽‍♀️

In a society where the Niegreau parent cares little to nothing about teaching their children Black history, That movie has introduced Malcolm to a generation of kids that then went on to further learn about him, and others like him, on their own. I know because I'm one of those kids with Niegreau parents who preach "Go to school, get good grades, and get a good job."
