I spent a few days in Sirmione in June this year. Rok, you are absolutely accurate about what an amazing place it is. Thanks for the memories, and for giving me more reasons to go see the rest of the Lake Garda area!

Your videos are first class Rok! I appreciate them immensely and watch them over and over again when doing monotonous household chores, planning future vacations in my head! Such a breath of fresh air when 99% of all travel videos on youtube are bland, AI-generated filler content that recommends the same places over and over again.

Rok, great video! I'm very impressed by you. You have such positive energy, a real passion for discovery and education, and an overall beautiful spirit. Thank you for showing some proper love to Garda. Como's immense fame (at least here in the States) unfortunately entirely overshadows all the other lakes. Yes, Como has many outstandingly wonderful parts, but the other lakes are bizarrely ignored as if they aren't in an equally spectacular setting being so close by.
I've fortunately been to all the biggest 8 lakes in this region: Garda, Idro, Iseo, Como, Lugano, Varese, Maggiore, and Orta (in order from East to West). There are actually quite a few more (nearly a dozen more) but they are very small compared to these, much more like "normal" lakes rather than like small seas. These much smaller lakes also tend to be just nature so if you're looking for cool towns, they're probably not for you.
Everyone has their favorite lakes (mine is Orta, by a long shot!) but they each have amazing experiences to offer. Looking forward to your next adventures👍 Sending many high-fives from NY.

Thanks 🤗 Wow, that is a lovely comment. I am also impressed. So nice of you to share you experience about the entire area. I totally agree with you. Next year I plan to film some of the lakes you've visited.

Rok, you are a pro! Thank you for all this great info It is so professionally put together! Our family of 6 adults has just booked for next May, we have just 6 days on Lago Di Garda - so this is extremely helpful in narrowing down all the stunning choices. We are all super excited! Very beautiful but question: For honeymoon purposes, is Lake Garda, Como, Maggiore or Orta the best?

I’ve only been to lake garda and Como , lake come is just too crowded and not the best tourists , dirty in some areas but lake garda is just amazing not too crowded and mostly nice people and pretty clean

I think I would go with Garda or Orta.

@@rokgoesaround interesting... because i was thinking of Stresa (for multiple days) at Lake Maggiore, and taking a day trip to Orta instead of staying at Orta for multiple days. What do you think?

As an Italian who lives in Milan, therefore close to Como and Garda, I tell you Garda without any doubt

@RedeemedCatholic Lake Orta is very pretty but if you want to go on excursions it is a bit limited.
Garda, depending on whether you choose the north or the south. In addition to the places that Rok suggested very well, if you choose the north of Lake Garda you can visit the Dolomites, the cities of Riva, Arco, Trento, Bolzano, Merano.
If instead you choose the south of Lake Garda you can go to Brescia, Verona, Vicenza, Padua, and you can rent a car also get to Venice and Treviso.

We are visiting this September middle. Staying in Densenzano, can we leave from there on ferry and hop on and off all day?

Just came back from Sirmione. We went to the markets at Dez by ferry...easy hourly access. Lots of different routes. But the lake is huge so you may want to include some land trips not just ferry trips.
