The Toll blew my mind, it was an amazing ending to such a great series. It’s been weeks since I finished it and I still can’t stop thinking about it. Could not recommend a series more.
Ryan Padden I was worried for a while. It was slow going but built up well. As things ended I was frustrated at how I thought things were going but the final end to all was actually great and better than I was thinking of as reading.
@@joecourtney8552 It definitely was a slowwww build in the final book. I think I really loved it because the three books in the trilogy had their own structure that fit their purpose within the series. The first book acted almost as a stand-alone book in how the story flowed, then the second book served to explore the aftermath of book 1 and then kick off of the high stakes necessary for book two, while book three was one collective build to a conclusion. I felt like Shusterman really planned out the story ahead of time, where every major twist (and the ending) initially felt surprising, but made so much sense based on the information given throughout the books. So the final book just felt so satisfying and well crafted.
I had the best reading month in several years as I read 14 books and was able to catch up a bit with my Goodreads goal. I'm still 9 books behind, but it's not that bad 😂 The best books of the month for me were probably The Elite and The One, and also And Then There Were None which was a re-read.
I finished in November, De Vinci Code, the lost symbol by Dan Brown and my reread of Going Postal by Terry Pratchett because the movie Klaus gave me so much Going Postal vibes and feels.
I discovered The Keeper of the Lost Cities through your videos and I started reading them during summer !! Now I just finished the 8th book and I totally agree with everything you said !! AND WE HAD MORE SCENES WITH KEEFE🤩🤩 Every time he and Ro were in a scene i was laughing way too much😂
I’ve had the worst reading slump for the past month, but I just got The toll and your review totally motivates me to get back to reading! Love your videos ❤️
THe Queen of Nothing was just so great! I will pick up the The Merciful Crow and other books you recently reviewed. I cannot read as fast as you even with your reading slow down; I wish I could. Waiting for third book of Maureen Johnson Devious series, so good. Hey, you'll be fine, you love reading so the occasionally slow down is your brain resting and Queen of Nothing is a story will bring you back!
I also have had the worst reading month in a long time right now!!! But I cant wait to pick it up again, it's just such a busy time currently!!! Love you as always Reagan!!! ❤❤❤
so happy to hear you liked legacy! I agree that book 7 was the weakest (I really wasn't into it) so I've been hesitant about legacy but now I'm more hopeful!
I just finished Thunderhead! I closed the book and was just shattered at the end. It was devastating and beautiful and depraved. I loved it. I just opened The Toll and already know I won’t be a functioning human post read. I barely functioned after the first two. I am starting Holly Black after Christmas is over. I’ve heard she is worthy of 3.5 stars and am eager to see what she has to say. I am always down for a good Fae novel. I also want to delve into some fiction so I got Red, White and Royal Blue but also Looking for Alaska. On the sidelines I need to pick up The Grace Year. Pretty sure I will love it.
This month I didn't get in as much reading as I'd like to have but I did get to finish 2 books. Graceling and The Six of Crows. Absolutely LOVED Graceling! Was hard for me to keep interest in Six of Crows. I've been trying to finish it for a couple months but just didn't keep my interest. I may go back and re-read it in a few months.
I'm currently reading KAFKA ON THE SHORE by Haruki Murakami and EDGE OF ETERNITY by Ken Follett, books I started reading in November. I've been busy job hunting in the month of November and I didn't finish these two novels because of that. December tho, if I catch a break, I'll finish them in sha Allah. Your videos always help to put me back into the reading game so thank you.
I have recently read The Burning White, Starsight and the Queen of Nothing and I loved them so much! Now I am reading The Toll and am really curious to find out what happens :) It was your videos that led me to all these authors so thank you very much for what you do!!! :)
I read Legacy, and now I'm really sad I have to wait for the next book. I've also recently finished The Wheel of Time and read Warbreaker, Soul of the Sword, and Theft of Swords. I also reread The Last Wish and Pride and Prejudice. It was a good month for reading. I loved every one of these books.
November wasn’t the greatest for me either, you are not alone😂 I am quite surprised as I love these months the most but maybe the end of the decade is getting to us all🧐
No 5 stars for me In November. I read Exile, Little Fires Everywhere, An Ember in the Ashes, The Grand Sophy and the Well of Ascension with the last one being the best one that month at 4.5 stars.
Dont feel bad on how long u take to read on ur way to and from work. I updated a book on goodreads and saw i am 23 days from reading it for a whole yr. Its my work break book.
I had the best reading month of my life so far, I read 13 books and four of them were 500+ pages books... I was like “I need more, just give me more” lol
I had a pitiful reading month it seems this past November because I only read one book. But that book was a 570+ page read and that was The Diviners by Libba Bray. It took me a majority of the month but I'm determined to reach my reading goal of 60 books my the end of the year and I am only 6 books away. :D
In October and November I read 3 books. Not my best reading months, though November I participated in NaNoWriMo, so I was focusing more on that, and I won! 😃 I have 6 books I need to read to complete my goal of 75. We’ll see if I can do it!
How many books will there be in the Keepers Of The Lost City series? I own the first boxset, which has 5 books. I’m wondering will there be another boxset with the other books? Thanks!
I couldn't disagree with you on The Toll more. After rating both Scythe and Thunderhead 5 stars, I was so disappointed in The Toll. I thought it was set up to be a masterpiece and it just took a nosedive. I wanted so badly to love it as much as the other two.
Am I the only one who just didn't like Scythe?? I found it really slow and it barely had any world building. Neal Schusterman could have done so much more with the world but it felt very kiddish. But, maybe I didn't like it because I read it right after Mistborn and there's no beating that.
Scythe and The Toll stories are following similarly to one of George Clooney's movies where no one lives past the age of 30. Looking forward to read these books, especially Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell, but after my read of series by Sanderson, The Way of Kings. Thank you for your review. 👍😊🇨🇦
I just want you to know I struggle greatly with depression and anxiety and your videos bring me so much joy I need more
Thank you for sharing Alex, big hugs to you, I feel the same.
❤️❤️
The lighting is actually really nice ? Looks soothing

It's not the quantity you read, but the quality, and you clearly read quality books!
Appreciate the effort to film before work :p thankyouu

Inku's Bookish World I read the elite and the one too! I loved them.
And Then There Were None is one of my favorite books ever, I love it ♥️
This month I fell into a reading month since the end of last month and just feeling so low. Hope to pick up some books and get into reading again.
*reading slump
Can we talk about that adorable and beautiful sweater, please? 😍 I - L - O - V - E - I - T
Thank you! And it’s on SALE
I am waiting on a copy of Scythe from my library! The wait is killing me! So many people loving on this series right now!
Michael Knipp I just finished Scythe on Monday and it’s easily one of my favorite books of all time
@@CatieAndHerCats Dang! That's awesome!
Maya Hawke! That’s who you remind me of. ☺️ The Merciful Crow sounds pretty cool. Excited to finish the Scythe trilogy!
I finished in November, De Vinci Code, the lost symbol by Dan Brown and my reread of Going Postal by Terry Pratchett because the movie Klaus gave me so much Going Postal vibes and feels.

Jonathan Strange!!! Love it so much. Such a wonderfully weird book.
I really love your videos and all the books you request and your way of talking is just soothing
I’ve had the worst reading slump for the past month, but I just got The toll and your review totally motivates me to get back to reading! Love your videos ❤️
Freaking love the Scythe series ughhhhhhh😫Finishing the series was horrible but I loved it so thoroughly.

Love your chrismas jumper

I couldn’t get into the merciful crow. I do want to try it again, but ugh! So many books to read
I'm with you with The Toll! I rated it 5 thundering stars!
November was a rough month for me also. I just didn't have the want to read anything! I only finished 1 book.
I just finished Thunderhead! I closed the book and was just shattered at the end. It was devastating and beautiful and depraved. I loved it. I just opened The Toll and already know I won’t be a functioning human post read. I barely functioned after the first two.

I still need to pick up my copy of Merciful Crow! I've heard such mixed things

I finished two books this month 😅😅 what's wrong with me? ^^'''
I started reading Godsgrave today and I listen to A little life.
Have a nice day 😊
Great! I'm currently reading RedQueen. Really, something is wrong with me? Not following the hype may be. 😉
You always read the best boooks!
Omg you couldn’t function for like 8 days, I need a book like that in my life 😂
Hiya! Can you please tell me how do you manage to read such a thick book in a month? Love your videos 🤩😘😘
Are you thinking about reading The Burning White? I'm curious to hear your thoughts!
How many books will there be in the Keepers Of The Lost City series? I own the first boxset, which has 5 books. I’m wondering will there be another boxset with the other books? Thanks!
Please read Dry by Neal Shusterman it is sooooooo good!
I plan to!!

I didn't like The Cruel Prince very much at all. I have heard The Wicked King is a lot better. Is it worth reading?
YES. I didn't like The Cruel Prince but The Wicked King was great!
My tbr is rereading what if its us I got about 150 pages left and QoAaD has 380 pages left
What, before work? Regan, you must really love us
spoiled the toll for myself and am currently dying while one page 375

I only finished like 7 books in November so I can relate to the whole "bad reading month" thing...

I always read it as "keef" so when I kept hearing you say "keefie" I thought you meant that you shipped Keefe and Sophie 😅
Haha I do so I guess that does work!
@@PeruseProject lol 😅

That big ass book tho
you look like a young Hillary Clinton 😊
