Thank you again for sharing. I have 1976 F100, rust in exactly the same place, floor pan and bottom of the kick panel. I am from South Africa. My bakkie (pick up) was manufactured in SA. I think this must be design floor. Water some how gets in and the moisture sits under the carpet and causes the rust. How the rest of the truck is pretty solid. ISH
I've never researched it, but perhaps the trans hump is different for the F350. I've never seen a removable panel like that on this vintage, but I also haven't paid a lot of attention. I'm really enjoying your build so far. Hope the GM frame doesn't cost too much to repair.
Thanks for the interest and support W&G! The frame guy got me for $500 for the straightening and welding in the new mount. Not too bad I guess, but if I had to do it over again I would buy one that hadn't been crashed.
Thanks for confirming that. I wondered if the bent frame would end up costing you. That said, you scored a low-miler, so you've got a sound power plant to work with.

I love your approach, even though my personality is more like Nathans garage. I will try on force me to do it your way.

The pros have gotten in on the F100 - CV swap too. . . .ruclips.net/video/RDy8c_nICl8/видео.html
Interesting. Kind of shocked the way these "pros" are doing what appears to be a hack job. I look forward to seeing how it turns out.
