The lightsworn archetype is my favorite in the entire franchise. Destroying the field with Judgement Dragon was my favorite part. Sometimes I would have 2 JD's in my hand, so I would destroy the field with 1 and then special summon the second one and hopefully I've taken off 2000 light points and they'd have nothing to counter it.
I like that it’s based on Michael the arch angel who created the monsters and in Christianity Michael is the most feared warrior with the embodiment of god as far as power literally can do whatever wants this card should be wayyyyyyy stronger

I wish if u remake it and tell the whole story and how they evolved to more powerful cards and twilightsworns and the evil monsters they are fighting are already represented in cards as well ( forgot their names tho)
If they ever add more Lightsworn monsters, they should be based off existing monster, basing it around monsters from other archetypes that are heroic or worthy to join the Lightsworns.
I do love my Lightsworn deck on Duel Links. But I have to say: Aurkus the Druid, probably the worst card in this archetype! 'cause as long as he's on, you can't target your own monsters with spells and traps. Making a huge chunk of your spells and traps useless! There might be situation where it can help, when your opponent uses lots of effects that targets your monsters. But beyond that it's not worth it!
Idk I think Minvera, The Exalted Lightsworn should've been a Synchro Monster instead since I potentially see Lightsworns Extra Deck support mainly being Synchros
10:12 Cat, not dog. The Legendary Beasts are based on a Lion (Entei), Sabertooth Tiger (Raikou), and the Mythical Kirin (Suicune) which is a mixture of a dragon, a deer, several big cats, and unicorns, for anyone not in the know.
2 things worth mentioning that you forgot is raiden is probably named after the god of thunder as wel as rinyan having Nyan in its name which is a japanese frase for the sound that cats make
I run 50 card lightsworn with realm of light, the sanctuary, the barrier, and 3 copies of pumpkin princess XD. I also run 3 of each tuner and each extra deck monster. It's super funny, I get the field spell out as fast as possible, and then start fishing for pumpkins. That means the more I mill the stronger my monsters get, and every passing turn makes the opponent lose attack points. Then I just destroy Michael when the deck gets low and put my graveyard monsters back in my deck and do it all over again hahahahahha I play pretty casually, and the format we use is everything before pendulums came out so only synchro and xyz. But it's fun and I win a lot of games
I'm guessing that Michael is recruiting members to retake the sanctuary after it was taken over by the darklords seeing as how the angel Michael is always thought to be the rival of lucifer

Basically in the plain of the lightsworn there is a secret room, where only those who are ready for anything to pursue justice can enter. There you can find many sets of dark robes which grant amazing power to the users, where the light won't arrive the twilightsworn will.
I know this relatively late. But it doesnt matter as its worth pointing out cause many still do not know this. Lightsworn was played by an anime character just not in the anime. Was played by none other then Blair/Rei Saotome in Tag Force 3. Reason I point this out is cause many still don't know Blair is the one to play Lightsworn just not in the anime (Also showed Tag Force cared about Blair a lot more then the anime) and someone in Tag Force production committee realized her maiden in love strategy is god awful and abandoned it for Tag Force 3 and gave her Lightsworn (They keep it for Loli and "Male" Disguised Blair route) Also shows that Blair is the most underappreciated character ever. Definitely way better then Alexis. (Her Obelisk Route in Tag Force 3 also what makes her best girl of GX lol)

I'm saying it if GXs final villain was a character who was the reincarnation of the Light of Destruction he or she is so using the Lightsworns of course if that happen they should have Jaden counter this with Evil-HEROES since he's the Supreme King wielder of the Gentle Darkness
i have my christian friend play this card and his favorite card is this archetype he love the lore behind it and he likes how you play the archetype truly suits his personality and style

i know this video is a couple years old, but I'll never understand anyone who thinks stretching a square image to fit a wider ratio looks better than just keeping it square and leaving the black bars on the sides... or better yet, having any kind of generic background to fill that space lol

this deck is the reason i have Gravekeeper's deck. Gravekeepers effects not so effective against them but lore make it so contra to Lightsworns.
