When Aqua wins the Million Dreams Award she recieves Royalberry Ice Cream and Pete aka Captain Justice or Captain Dark is banished to another demension, but Maleficent busts him out in return for his services

Horace is voiced by Bill Farmer here. That's right, Horace is voiced by the same actor that voices Goofy.
Makes sense. Horace was supposed to be the original Goofy.

Every time I play the ice cream game or deliver all sorts of ingredients, it makes me want ice cream myself. Royalberry sounds so delicious. I love Aqua so much. She is indeed the most mature of the three. I don't mind her being serious in a time of crisis. And Pete can't get a break can he? But now we can see how he was banished, all because he refused to learn his lesson. But he brought this on himself I suppose. And that is how Maleficent took him out of that dimension, even though we didn't know this until KH II

Despite what happened at Radiant Garden, you can tell from their tones that they still care for one another. It's so sad to see what happened to them at the end of the game.

So Pete sort-of-cheats at a popularity contest where the reward is a fucking ice cream cone, and Minnie's response is to BANISH HIM TO THE GODDAMN SHADOW REALM. Where he's picked up by Maleficent, pledging his loyalty to her out of desperation and loneliness. I know Pete's a selfish dick, but his fall to darkness is squarely her fault.
Hahahahahaha if you think this is the only case of Pete doing shit like this then you clearly don't know who Pete is.
ChibiTails Well Pete did cross the line, so regardless of that happened he did got what he deserved
He acted dishonestly in a literal popularity contest because he wanted people to like him. Is this kind of behavior par for the course for him? Yes. Is it entirely against the spirit of the festival? Yes. Is it something so bad it warrants LITERALLY BANISHING HIM TO THE VOID? Yeah, no. The only reason Pete sticks around with Maleficent is that she gives him purpose, a place where he belongs, even if he takes abuse for it. Pete was in exile in a place where he was figuratively and literally isolated from everyone and everything, and so Maleficent comes along offering a place at her side and a goal to work for. Of course he's going to go for it.
