No doubt , still 🔥 after decades . Not to mention Rev Run acting skills back then. He could've pursued that road and possibly won some serious honors .
I saw this opening live in Chicago at UIC. The arena was rocking !!! Yes we were yelling RUN !!! The show was incredible, JMJ turned the mother out, DMC rocked hard and Run was crazy.
They were the perfect blend of all 3, their transition from one to the other is still the best even to this day and DMC voice was piercing and then that smoothness of RUN's voice and then add the musicality of JMJ. Just a flawless group they were and then add their clothing style on that and it was just pure magic
I remember watching this movie as a kid in the mid late 80s This part is very Legendary, And back then I never thought I would see Run Dmc, But I ended up going to their concert in 1993" in Milwaukee And this was 8 years after this movie came out. And Run did this same routine that night at the Mecca areana And it was so dope to see that live.😎
@@charlyeanhernandez3874yeah it did but they probably saw it in 86. I didn't see it at the theater when it cameout in 85. I saw it in 86 on vhs, and we wore that tape out!!!
Their stage intro was legendary and they commanded a stage like no other in this period, as my man below me said, this scene was iconic, I still rock their show at the Apollo in my car to this very day
I remember the only concert i ever attended when i was in the 6th grade and it was a free Run Dmc concert. Held at the I.S. 192 school yard in Hollis, Queens. 🎶 R.I.P Jay
