I TOTALLY AGREE with you...El Fuerte is my main... (Grade B on psn) He is truly a challenge to main...I've been using since February or so and I have a pretty decent arsenal of mind games with him..My only problem is doing the RSF...Do you have any tips on doing Elf's infinite on a ps3 pad?? GIPIE RULEZ!!!!
@IHeartDieWaffenSS2 He most likely panicked. I'm not as good as he is, but he's human just like the rest of us. Mistakes do happen, no matter how good you are.
Thing with Fuerte is, either you win by connecting two or three series of hits without allowing your opponent to do anything or you lose. If you trade blows, you're dead. His damage output is low and so is his health. Being a pest is basically the only way you can win with him. It's frustrating for the other player when his mind games work, but that's pretty much all there is to him. Either you do it or you lose. I know people hate him, but those who use Fuerte hate Blanka and DeeJay as much.
I didn't say he was a good character. I said he requires luck to win because all he does is trying to confuse his rival with speed and randomness. I main Guile and Bison so I can't say they're overpowered. With Bison all ELF match-ups are cakewalk and with Guile it gives some problems if you get knocked down, but otherwise it's just stupid. Running around like mad dogs hoping you to misjudge what he'll do next. Well, that's their loss because I can see.
So you are telling me that you stick to a predictable fight strategy for all your matches on any characters? Either you lose alot or you play really op character. He doesn't have many things going for him(why do you think he still low tier after two games and two patches)...ELF players who know ELF must be unpredictable...A predictable Elf is a dead Elf and also pretty much goes for almost all characters in SSF4....luck and randomness have nothing to do with it.
Inconsistent logic. What makes an Akuma combo more skillful? RSF requires some of the tightest timing in SF. Also, can you do Lmk run-stop block string combos? Do you know how to utilize tortilla's invincibility perfectly? If you don't, most of your tortilla attempts will fail. He's not random, he's just too fast for you to understand he's mechanics. Stay slow/mad/jelly/etc.
So much hate for such an amazing character. Sad. I always wonder why this is? Yes, Fuerte can be tedious to fight against, but everything Fuerte does is high risk because of his super slow recovery on specials, his super bad normals and ofcourse his low HP. People that hate just don't know the matchup or either tried playing him and failed miserably.
I don't know what you guys are complaining about. I enjoy playing El Fuerte. I really like playing coin-flip characters where I have to guess properly in order to properly defend myself. It reminds me of playing rock-paper-scissors. Because random guessing is actually really good for competitive games...
@Super7826 And that 2 out of 3 doesn't include the 5-game streak Daigo ran up between the second and third game. I like how Daigo's Akuma is progressing. Unlike before, he's actually taking advantage of Akuma's strengths now, but in a completely different way from Tokido and all the other Akuma players out there (who pretty much copy Tokido, or try to, anyway).
It's a luck character. If you're lucky your mixups work, if you're not you fail miserably. I'd say this hate is well deserved. He requires no skill after you learn how to use certain combos. There is no other random character like him.
I remember in the early days when i first fought a Fuerte he kept cross-up bellyflopping and no matter what direction i blocked or if i backdashed i would get hit. Felt like a complete moron lol.
5:54 Zeny throws the match Away. he could've ultra... I don't blame him at all, after you reach certain level of play, you automatically refuses to focus+raw ultra....
haha my god, El Fuerte's such a dickhead I love him
Ahhh, my favorite player vs my favorite fighter to spectate. this is good :)
Interesting FADC combos off shoryukens from Daigo. And nice to see the consistency of the RSF loops to go along with the mixups from zeny53.

That anti-air ultra 1 for elf is fucking ridiculously hard to time
@11tobiobito
Winning 2 out of 3 games is owned?
El Fuerte is great for scrubs. His Ultra 2 just made em happier.
El Fuerte!!! XD my favorite character!
@IHeartDieWaffenSS2 He most likely panicked. I'm not as good as he is, but he's human just like the rest of us. Mistakes do happen, no matter how good you are.
Daigo just doing all he can to get out of the corners, not giving a fuck about the damage he might take.
ユンやめてパッと見最強だから豪鬼使ってた頃かな
tell me then whats the hardest link then
how to do that combo?
After the 6 Slaps at the end, why didn't he do a run, stop M.Kick...and so on.
amen to that brotha!!!
That ending made me flinch! lol
ryu is overpowered??how about cammy akuma seth and fei long?
@Jokeritu I see you play Guile pretty...that explains the post....i guess zeny, gipie, lori, tkd win there matches by luck and being "random".....
Dat Perfect ._.
6/2
the man deserves props for awesome skill though, unless zeny53 is a girl, then she is prop-worthy
Talking about taking a Hadouken in the knee.
o_0 Pretty anticlimactic ending. All he had to do was jump. He was a full screen away.
Play a low tier character against one of the best players in the game only to be called a scrub on the internet...
BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh BOO seh
5:56 6 SLAPS. You son of a bitch.
I didn't say he was good. I know his tricks and they don't work on me. All he has is his mix-ups. Without them it's like kicking a puppy.
What the?? Daigo akuma?
Damn, if only zeny super canceled at the end there...
@iAMeverythingISme nah not gay ay bro.
why
49% combo at 6:00 lol
Amen to that.....PSN is uber infested with Ken Ryu and Blanka users....like there aren't 34 other characters to choose from...
All op. Just some more than others. All bugged safe-move lame characters.
What an anti-climactic ending.
FAAACK!!!!!!!
Zeny never use "Quesadilla Bomb", like Pepeday, but, he still being dangerous and have an awesome level with El Fuerte.
Jesus Christ, that guy is quite possibly the best El Fuerte I've ever seen.
Seriously huh. After years of playing this game, I STILL DON'T KNOW how to block or fight against this character!!!!!

@IHeartDieWaffenSS2 Look properly at his input. He made the jump input too late. He panicked.
Using a character that isn't even his main, Daigo proves that solid play > gimmicks.

0:09 I feel no more guilt of mashing, lol.

My god!!! that last round!! epic finish!!
5:54 Zeny throws the match Away. he could've ultra... I don't blame him at all, after you reach certain level of play, you automatically refuses to focus+raw ultra....
that fuerte player is good but he abuses that cheesy over-powered punch combo. It takes so much life off. Capcom need to nerf that combo.
@cougher989 no ones really sure, hes been hopping from ryu to akuma back and forth, but no ones really sure which hes gonna main
for the habanero dash, does the light, medium and heavy version have any difference? such as speed, recovery, start up
All the Akuma/Daigo vids I've seen so far show him having only 0BP. But yes, he's only recently started using Akuma.
Damn, if zeny super canceled his last RSF, instead of slide, he would have won. Zeny is fucking good though.
Close match.... for a second there I thought Daigo would los... eerrrr I mean his friend playing again ;)
Anyone know why Daigo's playing as Akuma? Learning the weaknesses or is he going to main him?
Yes, RSF combos are so overpowered that El Fuerte manages to be one step above ass tier.
Good shit. Great set and amazing play from both players. It could have been anyones game
its true el fuerte is a challenge someone to use well could be a very amazing oponent
Akuma has 0Bp, so does this mean this is Daigo's 1st time useing Akuma online? o.O
AWWWWWWW, he could have finished the match with the super after the Hp series. :{
Definitely NOT the hardest move in the game, but should still not be nerfed.
When I play some fuerte player i'm all the time like 'PLZ STOP MOVING :(('
Dunno how Daigo got "owned" if he's up 6 rounds straight.. check yer eyes.
that elf is sick how he punished those st.hk's with ex run absorb to rsf
BE SURE TO RUN ONCE YOU HERE THE SOUND OF SHOES SQUEAKING....
@AzelDH you have no clue what you're talking about.....
it can absorb 2 hits, gets hit out of the 3rd hit
@ahmadkhaled turtle blanka players are much worse
@davijerr1 palm os ultra, not so impressive tbh
el fuerte SHOW is amazing ;D
lol; his Ryu doesnt struggles much with Elf.
How the fuck did he use el fuerte so well?
2:12 Daigo got hungry for some mexican
how many hit can EX run takes up to?
That El Fuerte is ON CRACK!
I choked on my drink at that ending.
@acidglow 1:00 it gets worse kkkk
i respect that El Fuerte
zeny is very annoying lol
@demorik ya herd meh
