I've slways loved listening to this opera.Watched the full length film many years ago.Being Teochew and living in S'pore in the 1950s, I was exposed to Teochew ""wayangs"" which was locall expressions for performing roadside Teochew operas, every Teochew person's favourites.
To add to my earlier comments, I'm proud to say that I can sing most of the songs sung by the ""heroine", namely, the maid who took the culprit to task.
Love watching actresses Tan Chor Hui, Poon Kar Gek & Chan San Hong Teochew movies. Thanks for sharing my friends and I enjoy very much. We are Teochew movies’ fans.
