Her official first album is called "Enya", released back in 1986 for the BBC. It was later re-released under the title (and with slightly expanded contents) as "The Celts", according to the album's concept (being the soundtrack to the BBC documentary of the same name). "Touch Travel" was a v/a cassette from around 1983/84, released by the independent cult label Touch from London - the cassette featured two short instrumental pieces ("Miss Clare Remembers" along with "Solar Wind"), crediting Enya under her full name (Eithne Ní Bhraonáin). "Watermark" is her second full studio album released in 1988. Before she started her solo career earlier in the 80s, she appeared with her siblings in Clannad (the group's 1982 album, I believe, also features Enya on the record cover). Before "Watermark" she also contributed with a spoken word segment to Sinead O'Connor's debut album "The Lion And the Cobra" (from 1987).
Some 10 years ago, one of then-popular blogspots offered a complete free download of the tape. Shortly after the upload, Touch's representatives kindly asked for it to be removed due to copyright issues. I guess each artist featuring on that tape had plans with their recordings afterwards, so all you can do is try and track down the original C90 cassette as such via Discogs. It was never re-released in any other form after the initial cassette release from 1984.
Play this myself, but I only have to listen to this rare version from 1983 and it gets me every time, Enya is majestic..
My mom is 50, and this is her favorite song, from her favorite album. But you made that, Enya...

I’m not sure why the early version of “Miss Clare Remembers” is a half-step higher than the original. Maybe because it was recorded that way?
