I use this same tool EVERY day I'm at work doing small engine repair. Pressure testing fuel systems and pressure/vacuum testing 2 cycle crankcases is all mine gets used for. About every two years it gets a rebuild kit.
Just glanced at your channel. Looks like some good videos on there. I work on small engines for a living and always like to see information on anything remotely close to what I come across . 30 years ago they used have classes you could take for small engines. Those days seem to be gone. Thankfully I learned from my dad. Now it’s either digital content or something I come across in a magazine for information.
@@tatersalad2067 When I was a kid I learned by taking stuff apart to see what made it work then put it back together and make it run. At one time I took a correspondence course and later took a job as a small engine mechanic. Now the only training I get is annual factory training from Husky and Echo. That training is usually based for younger techs to get them thinking right.
That Mityvac was a must-need tool when I replaced the power steering hoses on my F-350 Super Duty (paired with the Mityvac power steering pump adapter). It saves hours from manually bleeding the air out manually.
The nice thing about the metal Mityvac pump, CP (which I have as well), is that it's rebuildable! Every single part is available for purchase from Mityvac.
Thats awesome I should have added that Dave great advice
Good to know about the F350, I have one too.
Ive had one for years, great tool, old school diagnostics, i started my apprenticeship in 1995 finished in 1998, i still work on cars and still use this tool
Have been using this tool for 10+ years and love it! Great tool, and you’re right, it is underrated! My favorite add on is the Mityvac MVA670 power steering kit! When you replace a part and have it back together, just fill with fluid, then put a vacuum on it and it sucks the air out. You don’t have to fight it!
Also good for diagnosing vacuum assisted 4 wheel drive systems, I use nine to check vacuum on IWE’s on F-150 all the time.
Thats a great call for sure
That's exactly what I use it for, checking crack pressure on wastegates. Mainly on my brothers X3 sand drag car. Probably one of my favorite tools for how simple it is and it being a multi-use tool.
Absolutely its one you can't afford not to have for the money
Mityvacs are great……..had one from the Mac truck for 10 plus years. They are rebuildable but Mac will replace whole thing if there is a problem
great to know they can do more the break jobs,
Once you pull those adapters out of the case, you'll never get them back in🤣
Man ain't that the truth
The only issue with this tool is if you don't wash the plastic lid after doing brake bleeds it will turn to jello and not seal.
Absolutely brake fluid kills
Damn CP, your getting expensive😂😂 Two videos in a row, see the tool in your video, and then order the tool. Thanks brother, awesome video!! 👍👍
Lol I do apologize I just need to upgrade lol
What is this brake bleeding your talking about? Just refill fluid and full send.

That metal Mityvac is the one to get. The plastic one at Harbor Freight is GARBAGE! Good buy, CP.
Yes sir I was dumb for not getting this sooner
Great intro man!
It's Wednesday not Monday. You do know your phone will tell you what day it is, the time and the date
Ya I flipped the day you know that 😏
Can you do a video of how 2 uses it
Please 🙏
I will try and set up several test to simulate this thing does a ton really
@@CPthetooladdict awesome 👍 looking forward to those videos! I loved the one a while back when you took us along for your AC repair
@@CPthetooladdict thanks 😍😍😍 you should make a bunch of videos of how to uses tools i think that would help me an a lot of people
Ha, I actually own this tool ! Saved myself 80 bucks ! Lol
Thats great news I wish I had had it instead of my old one long before now
That tool was not holding pressure. Stihl makes one for double the money.
Watch a cp video buy a new tool he makes us an addict lol
