I love you, RamDass. You have changed my life, taught me more than I ever could imagine. Thank you for sharing your experiences and wisdom with us here in the States.
Thank you- such a good talk! They are all really. I listen to Ram Dass talks everyday. Sometimes throughout the night while I sleep. His voice and compassion so soothing. His wisdom so clarifying❤. Thank you to the be here now team Blessings❤
Thanks to all the Team. Its been a great journey for me. 🤓 🥳 I'm working through all of Ram Dass's lectures during the Pandemic. It's been great during the day, as a lovely, decadent indulgence. Mostly though, I played the videos as I fall asleep at night in bed. Its been very therapeutic. Thank you kindly, to Raghu and all the team at the Network. Good Luck and best wishes sent your way. X
does anyone know the music in the beginning? I really like it and want to find that track or music like it. I don't even know what its called. I feel like it would be very good music to meditate to. anyone know?
Hello Dear Friend, I think I may be helpful for this desire of yours :) If you could message me I can send you a copy via email. Take care and stay blessed
Although not my guru, the spirit of Maharaji shines through his disciple Ram but enough with the acid. It's has also had devastating long term brain damage for some.
Ram Dass has said many things I agree with, but his approval of being stoned on psychedelics is no better than being drunk on booze, high on crack or meth. You don't need chemical stimulants to find your spirit. Ram Dass seems to have this attitude that he's better than others who haven't gone out and gotten stoned on acid. He's got a bit of that elitism in him despite his great wisdom otherwise.
I dont think he thinks he is better than those who didnt try psychedelics its just that usualy peoples are rooted in their concepts of the world and chemical can help you to break that first step but than you have to do the job by yourself and chemical can only speed up the proces. Chemical doesnt affect you it affects the mind and you as background witness can see flaws of the mind and see that you are not it.
You do not need psychedelics to find spirit. But dont project your opinion as Ram dass's. Some people need something to shake up their preconceived notions. Whatever your method don't be trapped by it. Someone who has had experience with psilocybin wouldnt compare it to booze or crack! !
I don't get that from ram Dass I feel he maintains neutrality. But one could use that perceived judgement as a bhakti exercise of sorts to find a way to be compassionate for someone who were doing that
Grateful that so many people gets a taste through LDD. How I’ve longed to have the help of psychedelics to give me a taste of oneness. I’ve been guided many times but only experience radical anxiety. Finally a friend who is a psychedelic guide and Buddhist said stop it’s not your medicine. Ive been a long time mediator also working through a great deal of childhood trauma. Honestly I feel jealousy that so many people have had their brain first switched on through psychedelics. What I got from it was more trauma. Have to accept it doesn’t turn everyone on. 🙏🏽
Psychedelics its not getting stoned , its a journey with in , even in ancient ages they used these substances in rituals for spiritual advancement , even in religion ... Like Majaraji said its lets you in the door to sit worh God but then you get kicked out .... comparing this to being on crack is the most foolish thing ive read ... Clearly you have not done any research on this topic , so your just another robot bouncing around on he said she said stuff. They are scientific studies and documentaries on this ... Thats why he got kicked out of Harvard for doing a study with 10 people giving them psilocybin and 9 out of 10 had a religious ,spiritual and profound experience with out even knowing what they took and why were they there ... they just took a survey at the end .... and the other 10 people that took the placebo had no experience at all ... so your statement ridiculous 🙄

Ram Dass was a true Mensch, or as my mother would say "he's a good kid." He has humour as well as wisdom. You can't ask for more than that
