If true this police officer was a highly tuned empath and psychic but did not understand these abilities at the time and they caused her problems. She needed psychic protection. A strong faith can help but these abilities are real not mental illness.

The “killer” they got in the end wasn’t the real killer. They just did an alternate ending. Real life case killer still not caught to this day

She seemed older to me, and lacked the glitz and glamour, that many cast females, as FBI agents etc. unfortunately have. Her emotional perturbations certainly gave her a more realistic air.
