I'm stunned that people claiming to represent God could treat the most vulnerable so inhumanely - my greatest wish is - as much as is possible -- healing.
iam sorry to say this but it still going on to day with the home less people women and kids stuck in hotels i be looked down on no life to be had men and boys in and out of homeless places no mental heath given their stuff be stolen be beat up drug taken no peace no place for them self no wonder they stay in a tent lots of them dieing on the street for gotten shame will we be looking back on this in the future too they are mothers fathers sons daughters sisters kids too human beings need homes
I was born in this home in 1953. Adopted in 1956 but process started 18 months earlier. No rushed adoption No beatings No one made money. I wish the US had such a system....as I took care of single mom n child because No One else did..no charity..no social service....that is my displeaure with the US system. I left Ireland with good health and good clothes. Sorry if you love to hate all things Catholic but all I can say is my experience great
Glad you were treated well. Not every child was. Perhaps you should read more books on adoptees' experiences. Her experience is as real and honorable as yours.
My mother gave birth here in the 1930s and she's now long dead but only told me very little of her experiences. God Bless ❤
Sending many blessings love & prayers
Shocking the way woman wore treated in this country

how could these people think this was religion - shame on them all , my heart breaks for those poor unfortunate mothers.
Spare a thought also for us baby survivors. We were literally born in trauma, then had to carry generational shame along with it
