    Not sure how relevant her experience as a State Department employee's spouse is for normal people looking to either work or retire in Ecuador. She's not living on the economy and she has a huge support support system that is not available to the average person. Her comment on finding a company to sponsor your stay there is ridiculously naive. Quoting costs from sources easily found in a ten second google search doesn't really add any value.

      ​@user-vd8zw6lt3g she didn't say it wasn't factual. She said it was harsh. I think she is not saying your comment had lies in it and unfactual. She is saying that she thinks you could have said the same thing but in a more polite way.
