I had to wait to play the bulk of the game myself before coming back to watch these! I got a Gale t-shirt for Christmas, though I have a mighty need for that Astarion one too now (especially after completing his storyline) XD I love this game, I so hope you do a full playthrough! Though I had forgotten just how rude Lae-zel and Shadowheart were at the start
As far as I know, the gameplay was pretty different in the first two games - Larian Studios made a series of games called Divinity, and this is built in the same way as those (I believe it's why Larian was chosen to make BG3 i the first place)
