Each of these game modes have the necessary foundation for Chaos Wastes: Mortis Trials: Buffs / Boons Havoc: Challenging Difficulty Modifiers Expeditions: Exploring a RNG map with resources to pick up and using some of them to buy “supplies” The assets are already there. If you combine them all together, we can seriously have our own chaos wastes now. But apparently fatshark and their creative Hubris separated them all so that we have different points of replayability paths?? Whats going on behind the minds in Fatshark???
1:30 we’re getting new ammo/weapon pack slot items There’s a bubble shield and orbital missile from what I can see so far Looks like psyker dome is probably getting reworked, it is a bit too much of a safety blankie sometimes
I'm cautiously optimistic. No boons, no building your gear from scratch, but there's still fully randomized maps and extra gear we can purchase and utilize for currency gained while playing. I really hope this gamemode will succeed at keeping me engaged and wanting to play more, unlike Mortis Trials.

So Darktide’s version of Chaos Wastes, but with the more open world style of Helldivers, such a thing is a great way to introduce genestealers, it’s already confirmed they’re on the planet as is, if we’re going outside the city, why not have forces from another city on the world

Its not a fully random map. Its locations in the big level that are randomized
