A couple years ago I had the best friend I've ever had. She was a girl from my spanish course, and we used to take some walks at night in the colder months. Every time I have chills I remember being beside her and talking. I remember her eyes looking for help, I can even remember she breathing, the day she cried in front of me, looking for help and I couldn't help. A year ago she texted me, asking for help cause she was having a really hard time, it was a wednesday, and I was going to college. I live 100km away from my college, and it takes me 2hours to arrive there. She said she was afraid she could kill herself. And I knew deep in me that this was true. But I had a seminar that day that was worth all my grade that semester and I wasn't able to deny it and go back to help her. She survived. She is alive. But today, second week of fall in Brazil, I took the train at 7am to go to college and when I was taking the second train this music played. I was so tired. I worked all day at saturday and sunday helping my family. I worked all this last week while studying. And today I was going to have german class and an important class. But when this music played I couldn't resist. It reminded her. I broke down between all the people on the train, I kinda of ran way and came back to my city in a lonely train. I repeated this song at least 10 times and it gave me chills and almost made me cry all the times. Your voice and this melody, all that passion reminded her that was a ocean of emotions that I couldn't handle. So I'm back home. I told my parents I was sick so they wouldn't bother me for not attending classes. Now I'm at my room, windows closed, crying and listening to this music. And everytime I look to you I only can see her. And imagine that if I wasn't so selfish I would have helped her, and that maybe now I would be strong enough to call her toū say that I love the person she is, the way she lives, the way she breathes. To say that I've build the home she wanted in the forest in the mountain. To say that I've hurt all my fingers to learn the songs she loved. To say that I would like to go take some coffe and just remember those colder months. To say I'm sorry. But unhapilly I'm not strong enough. I'm almost giving up. However this song is everytime more giving me the confidence (or the strength) to go call her. Thank you Liza Anne for all your musics, for being so passionate and for digging the real feelings that lie down in all our little hearts. Love you.
