Thanks for the informative video. I am considering this or a Dune since i am deep into Plex but really need the imagesupport (mainly to access special features). Regarding special features can they be accessed in Movie Theatre (local files)?
have an LG C2 an I use Zidoo Z9X PRO for play Dovi. I noticed that Dovi from netflix and Disney installed on tv is brighter than Dovi from HDMI 2.1 Zidoo. Can you do a test? Or Can you explain me why? Thanks
One is internal apps from a TV operating system, and another is a external device that asnt made for streaming apps in mind... You're going to see differences in that scenario. Zidoo has different tone mapping options play with the settings alongside your tv.
I've played with Dune devices and the Zidoo. The Dune device has no method to edit your collection of movies. The Zidoo does, which makes it usable and the Dune unusable. Also, Zidoo has a music file collection player. The Dune has nothing. I much prefer Zidoo over Dune.
when i plug my external hard drive in with iso blu ray images on it... what happens? Do they just get linked to a folder on the player and then i just hit play to watch the movie?
@@Chris-go9ti Yes, it can play ISO files with the build in player. You can either just hit play and the movie starts, or select the "BluRay" option which will boot the ISO file like an actual bluray player would, with all the menus etc. As an alternative to the built in player id suggest Kodi, if you want something more customizable.
I have an LG C2, I watching a lot of DV content. There are .mkv format. What do you recommend ? Apple TV 4k or Zidoo Z9X Pro Can apple play all DV formats?
Apple doesn't support all dolby vision profiles. Zidoo however supports alot more. It depends do you prefer one UI over the other? Or do you need DtsX and dolby atmos passthrough? If you're playing 4k remuxes or even ISO files with menus then Zidoo is the clear winner here.
Which dune media player specifically? Reason I ask not all models are the same. Considering the dune budget model that similar to the zidoo z9x pro you'll get identical sound and picture.

Greet review. I watched this from start to finish and even took some notes because i'm seriously considering a Z9X pro. Thanks, bro.
Thanks for watching!

Options and solutions.
Hello pein, I have a zidoo uhd 2600, I noticed my player won’t audio decode any movies that have Dolby digital or LPCM, any solution?
I don't own that model I suggest you look into the zidoo forums
@@pein3480 thanks, will do

This is a file player so when you plug your external drive into this device whatever folder structure is setup zidoo displays that exactly.
@@pein3480 does it have a built in player to make the movies play? I have 3d movies saved as iso.

This is great, I am having trouble connecting to my synology
Is your synology not displaying or are you getting a credential error?
@@pein3480 yes, not accepting credentials
@@pein3480 credential error, but I noticed that there’s other versions at the bottom of the page and it worked
@@pein3480 was a credential error, I picked a version down the list with the drive name and it worked.
Ziddo 9x pro can play dtsx and dts Hdma 5.1 file
Cool.
How is picture and sound quality compared to dune media player ?
