- I used Windows 11 for 30 days. Now I go back and compare it to Windows 10 side by side. Is it as bad as people think? I also add my theories as to why Windows 11 has such high PC requirements.
I am running this copy on a very old unsupported PC and it runs very smoothly. But, running Windows 11 on an unsupported PC could come with risks.

At about 16:10 you ask about Powershell. Powershell is a more feature rich command shell tool. It allows more complex scripting and additional output options. CMD still works, but PS give a lot more functionality.
You can tell I was a little thrown off at that moment. I had not seen it before. I thought they just changed the name. I will have to take a closer look.
Gret intro
The intro is the best part. The video, not so much LOL.
it's not that bad tbh, been running it a week after it came out, and by some heavenly luck i still haven't run in to a single problem with it, got used to it real fast.
To me it’s just a lil different but it’s basically the same once you put time in.
This is why I wanted to wait a full 30 days to give my true opinion.
@@RobertFixit true, thanks for your review!
I upgraded to 11, not a fan, I would go back to 10 if I could be bothered to reinstall it!
Outside of things being in different places, I don’t notice the difference really. So far to me it just looks like Win 10 had a skin change LOL.
@@RobertFixit I think it's just getting used to the changes for me, I think in a few years I'll be comfortable but by then then next version would be out lol
@@AlexHusTech why would it take that long to get used to it? I got mostly used to it in maybe a week. And in a couple months or so I barely remember what 10 was like lol.
@AlexHusTech I am comfortable to some degree. My new “work pc”, I was going to run windows 10 on because it is old, felt strange. So, I put Win 11 on it 🔥🔥🔥
why testing an older version of w11?
It is what was available at the time. As far as I know the basic features that I mentioned are not relative to the Windows 11 version.
I also did not want to talk about copilot as that is an entirely different conversation.
if the windows 11 system doesn't support Win11 then it's not a real test. that system is neither 8th gen, nor does it have a tpm 2 module. Invalidates the whole video.
I respectfully disagree. Installing Win11 on unsupported hardware is common enough that there is an audience for this content. Is installing Win11 on unsupported hardware the best idea? That answer probably depends on your tolerance for decreased security, and what MS will do in the future that might break unsupported installs.
Correct, it is not a “true” review.
But I wanted to show 2 things. First how would it look for someone who is considering to upgrade.
Also, for those afraid to put it on an old computer, I wanted to show that it works fine. Although there are rumors that any hacked or patched versions may stop working after updates.
Considering Microsoft offers 11 LTSC for old systems, I still believe that a light or trimmed down version will exist in the future at a monthly cost.
Something along the lines of what they tried to do with Windows Vista Basic and Microsoft Office Starter.
Why isn't a test if the hardware doesn't support it?
These requirements are bullshit and pointless.
Wtf is TPM and Secure Boot doing for you? More bugs and better telemetry?
Windows 11 is just a re-skin and an artificial nudge for people to buy newer hardware.
@@wagnonforcolorado I forgot to mention that “unsupported hardware” is a loose term. Clearly, the hardware is fine.
Microsoft just will not allow it (yet), because imagine the PR nightmare if every old Dell automatically upgraded to Windows 11. Slow performance, old devices not working anymore, etc.
People do not like it, but I think it was somewhat smart move to draw a line in the sand and say hey upgrade your computer.
Then, they came out with LTSC for old computers so now we know they are lying LOL.
🤫😴 Oh no, that background music is positively driving me nuts, along with the sleepy pace..I'm outa here.
Whoever can last 30 minutes deserves an award LOL
Oh get on with it!!!!
Change it to 3x speed LOL
Why fight what`s Inevitable
Exactly. Might as well pull off the band aid now and get a head start.
just subscribe to you lol
Thank you sir. The fails are epic!
