J.D. breaks down his hits and misses from Week 0 before jumping into the first FULL Prediction Tuesday of the season! J.D. gives his previews and predictions for Georgia Bulldogs football vs Clemson Tigers football in Atlanta, Florida Gators football vs Miami Hurricanes football battle in The Swamp, and Texas A&M Aggies football hosting Notre Dame Fighting Irish football. If Miami loses to the gators and goes undefeated the rest of the way is not hard to believe, considering how bad the ACC is and Florida isn't as mediocre as u think

The gators are very underrated and the ACC in general is overrated. NC State is the best in the ACC btw
In 2022 Florida beat a top 10 Utah at home and Utah ended up winning the pac 12. Can’t see why Miami couldn’t do the same.
Miami is probably the most talented Dline in football. GT will definitely give a better Dline than fsu

It'll be a war in the trenches forsure. However, ND's Oline is starting 2 Freshman against A&M's nasty Dline. I think it'll be a hell of a matchup
If ND still had a scrub OC I would be worried but Denbrock should have these young men ready to ball. Minimize false starts / down the field calls and ND should move the ball enough to separate.

Doesn’t surprise me that a Miami fan doesn’t understand home field advantage. They don’t have home field advantage.
I know all Miami fans expected Utah to come to the swamp and win easily considering that same team blew out Mario twice at Oregon the year prior. Didn't end up going that way.
All games, except the one involving the best roster on paper, being won by 2 to 4 points is pretty unlikely to me... especially for USC - LSU. If LSU really has an edge in that game it will show up by some increasing separation throughout the game, I can't see such an offensive centric game being won by less than a TD once one of the defenses creates something good while the other keeps being dog water.

Miami looks similar to FSU this year. . A piece meal team of transfer players playing their first game on the road in the swamp against Floridas best roster since 2018 . Florida has an extreme advantage in this game . On almost every metric people are acting like Miami is just in some other level than they are . Team overall talent rankings say other wise .

I think if UGA could play a shootout style of game, they wouldn't have lost to Bama in the SECCG. IT's never been this teams forte? When your rushing offense is stopped like Bama's stopped UGA's, where was Beck's shootout ability? Where were the WR's? Bama held UGA's run game and TE's in check and that was pretty much ball game. Keep in mind, Bama wasn't a good passing offense last year and didn't need to be, just be a little more effective offensively and stop UGA rush and TE's and you win.
What bothers me about UGA is that they had more talent last season and still, the close games with AU, GT, SC and that ugly loss to Bama where they only rushed for 78 yards. I don't see newbies improving that, no matter how many five stars that is. Every player needs to be coached. I don't think those games were flukes. UGA trailing in 7 first half games last year also is troubling. If Clemson brings the pressure Bama did to Beck, they could lose to Clemson. I look at that 2021 game and even with sub par QB play from Clemson, UGA never scored an offensive point against them. Defense is key for Clemson. I look at the Mizzou UGA game last year and what kept it close was Cook's passing and Shrader at running back. GT has two RB's like Shrader, short, fast and hard to tackle. Clemson has these things they could win. UGA, I don't know what this offense looks like. I'm not sure with a schedule as hard as UGA's and no divisions you can lean mainly on TE's and some very vanilla offense. Beck I don't think is a guy that's going to pick apart an elite defense and win the game for you, but maybe this year he needs to try and be that guy.

I got UGA winning, not covering. UGA vs Oregon was a very different scenario and seems a lifetime of teams ago. Oregon's HC's first game, first year, new team. If UGA had played Oregon later in the season, how does that game look? This game screams we have to go more recency. Say UGA vs GT in 23. Your telling me with all UGA has lost to the draft, GT lost by one score but Clemson is catching -13.5? SC got off to a 14-0 halftime lead on a more loaded 23 UGA team last year with a QB who threw the ball well on UGA before their defense caved in the second half. Clemson's D I don't see folding in the second half. IF Cade can do even some of what SC's QB did last season and be somewhat as compteent as GT's D last year, well, could get interesting.

GT grad. Followed them for 25 years. Yes I’m that old. Jackets can win a big one. But they also can lose to an FBS team. I want to be wrong, but they will lose one or two they shouldn’t. Jackets 6 wins this year. 7 would be great. 8 would be amazing. But 5 or 4 is also possible.

@@CakeBanditJr four guys that have had at least 6 sacks in one season at DE. Three transfer defensive tackles that were starters on their teams last year. That is about as much proven experience as you will find in college. And not to mention an incoming freshmen DL class that is loaded for depth.
