It is situated against the Ou Mountains and faces the Pacific Ocean, making its geographic location extremely advantageous. Standing at Aoba-yama Park, the entire cityscape unfolds before your eyes. Sendai has around a million people and is the biggest city in northeastern Japan. It's backed by the Ou Mountains and faces the Pacific Ocean, which gives it a really great location. When you stand at Aoba-yama Park, you can see the whole city. With a gentle breeze and lush greenery, I was able to appreciate the charm of the "City of Trees."
