What a peculiar gap of any notable developments between Nero and the high middle ages.
Thoroughly enjoyed this, some of the sound effects caught me off-guard but keep up the good work :D

Quite a few milestones have been reached between the glasses of the early medieval period and those of today!

I am always fascinated by the unexpected stories of objects we use every day. Have you ever noticed how, in old movies, a man with glasses is always some kind of professor? But a woman with glasses is a frump who shape-shifts into a stylish beauty when she changes her clothes and takes off her specs? All the better for her, if she can't see the cad who pre-judged her!

This video didn't get into contact lenses. But thankfully lazer surgery and implantable lenses [ for severe refraction problems] has come along.
