Loved this video! I’ve been in the non surgical hair replacement business for a good amount of time. And this was informative even for me, especially on information regarding insurances. I definitely am excited for this step in Private Labels new venture. It’s so long overdue. Mikey is about to make a whole lot of $$$! 😂
Questions 1. Do you pay for the wig first out of pocket, then file a claim with insurance? What’s the payment process for the specialist? 2. Will I get paid the price of the wig or a consultation fee? 3. How will the clients view the wigs for fitting?
Exactly because not all insurance pay 100%. Then they have "reasonable and customary" rates. So they may not pay the amount you want for the wig if your company is in network. Then there are times that they don't want to pay and you have to file an appeal. The payout is not immediate...sometimes up to 45 days. I only know this because of my background in medical billing and coding for a dr's office. I want to know if we need to ask insurance how much they will reimburse first....
Hi India, you mentioned Mikey having the units for display; I don’t live in Atlanta but I’m in Virginia and was curious as to how we could find out the pricing details if I wanted to have them in my salon space for display for the client to see and feel.
How is it custom if Private Label has them already... How did Private Label get the measurements from the dermatologist? Does that mean they come in standard sizes such as 21, 22, 23 like the fashion wigs do?
How does the specialist get paid? Is it a percentage of the wig cost,a base pay per client? Because you explained what the insurance company pays for the wigs but you never said how we’re supposed to get paid. Where will our payment come frm? And do we set our price for service or is there a standard pay per transaction?
Everyone I would like to leave a review for wigs medical. I bought the course for $197 on June 17, 2024. I have yet to receive anything as far as the course or the certification from the course. I was supposed to receive the course login information to start the course and get certified. I never received it. I’ve called several times to the company with no response. I’ve left several messages. I’m waiting for my email again. I’ve never received. Her email team is not answering emails. And I made sure to send these emails and calls during her regularly scheduled business hours. Honestly it’s looking like a scam it’s giving scam.
I’m so upset I was looking forward to helping people like my mom who had cancer and is looking for a wig she can wear comfortably and for others like her. I’m so upset
