Denver Health Orthopedic Trauma patient Darian Simon survived a shooting that doctors say disintegrated his right thigh bone.
He came to Denver Health in 2020 after losing 75% of his blood but the world-leading orthopedic trauma team saved him and put his leg back together, using a nail, a plate, a 3D plastic cage and bone graft that is integrated in his thighbone.
