Trent has got a big heart and did not want to be substituted, but Slot did it for his own good as we need him at a 110% against United. Slot went to talk to him showing he was concerned about his behaviour which he will view as a positive thing.

This is all about resting players, we have continuously struggled as a club with injuries, key players must be rested at any opportunity, this was a chance to do such, last week Slot did exactly the same. Manchester United are next, it is a long season, good management in my opinion, far preferred in comparison to that of Klopp.
