People get misconceptions about introverts & extroverts. It's not about if you're shy or loud, or being very social or reserved. There are shy extroverts and there are very loud and active introverts. It's about if you gain or spend energy if you're with other people.
exactly! I've got tired explaining it to everyone... When I tell people I'm more introverted they always laugh. Just coz I'm not shy around people and often take the lead in situations does not mean I am extroverted. I feel exhausted after hanging out with friends. If I go out on Friday, I need a whole weekend just me at home relaxing to recharge.
Sure, on average extroverts have better social skills simply coz they interact more often with people but being confident or shy is not the core description of this personality trait.
