Pull up progress video

  • HI. I built the garden gym a few months ago and struggled to do 1 pull up with poor form and with some serious effort have managed to get to a stage of at least 2 if not 3 pull ups with half decent form. I am hoping that I can continue to progress onto 5 + in a set. Any advice/guidance would be very well received. Thanks for watching. Oh and my apologies for the poor video, I literally have no idea what I am doing with the editing software. :)

    Nice video mate. Dig the calisthenics gym. Did you make it yourself? I want one for my back garden.

      Thank you. Yes I did, after watching a few videos I decided to build one to my own spec. A work in progress but a good start. I did record some footage of it going together but I am pretty useless with the editing software.

      @@petertallowin6406 did you concrete the posts in or just build to the frame. Looks sturdy enough.

      @@michaelgorewoda6271 I dug a hole large enough to place post in and wedge some house bricks around the base to level it up before pouring a load of postcrete in there levelling further if required while posts set. The scaffold tubing is a little on the large side for the pull up bars but works really well with the dip station. All posts only go down about 300mm ish... And seem struday enough. I would have preferred to go down deeper.
